Love this trail. Just be ready to get your feet wet. Fairly easy. Take a walking stick to help you cross the water.

Nice scenery, well marked trails, lots of people around to scare off the snakes!!

Peaceful and gorgeous hike. It was very shady for most of the way and stream crossings were easy due to the low creek flow this time of year (late May).
My only complaint was that the trail was not well marked once you got past the easy, "family out for a walk" section, causing confusion many times on which was...

This is a hiking trail well worth exploring! It has many creek crossings for those who like a little bit of a challenge skipping over rocks and most of the trail is shaded--the vista is absolutely beautiful!

If you have kids or a dog, maybe go halfway and turn back (its pretty much the same thing to look at the second mile). Would try a different hike next...

This hike has it all. Wonderful views of red rock canyon, lots of easy creek crossing with easy footing on the river stones, mostly level forest walking with some gentle climbs through rocks and stone steps. Three miles each way. Walking bliss!
