It's a great hike, fairly easy, you cross the creek quite a few times which is fun, but it is long and there isn't anything spectacular at the end. If you have kids or a dog, maybe go halfway and turn back (its pretty much the same thing to look at the second mile). Would try a different hike next... More

This hike has it all. Wonderful views of red rock canyon, lots of easy creek crossing with easy footing on the river stones, mostly level forest walking with some gentle climbs through rocks and stone steps. Three miles each way. Walking bliss! More
