Great place to look back into Oak Creek after traveling from Sedona north to the Grand Canyon. It has bathrooms and a very nice gift shop. The items in the gift shop are sold to help fund the US Park Services. The bought a nice tee shirt. Mt wife and I walked the paths and Native American jewelry was sold... More

Every time we come to Sedona, we make a point to drive up Oak Creek Canyon to the vista. It takes my breath away, and I love the changes the higher we go. Native American booths at vista are great for gifts, and vendors are pleasant and helpful.

My husband and I drove up and down this canyon about 8 times during our visit. I had to take the wheel and drive up and down it so that my husband could enjoy the view since it's a pretty scary drive for folks from northern Ohio! Enjoy!!!! It is beautiful!!!!!

I stopped at the Vista View over Oak Creek Canyon. A friend told me there were good native Artists there. I thought the view was outstanding and the artists were just great. Ended up buying a beautiful necklace from one of them. She was very nice, and all of the artists were very inviting and said good morning to me,... More

There are many beautiful views in AZ. While perhaps this view isn't specifically "better" than others, if you are taking the 89A route, it is 100% worth a stop to look out over the canyon. It is a nicely serviced part of the Coconino National Forest, and as noted in other views, has a craft market available if that interests... More

There were genuine Indian "trinkets" being sold at the site; the Park Service was there monitoring to make sure that they weren't "second hand" (no pun intended) and that everything was legit! They even had a legend that explained what to look for! Were we surprised when they took VISA!

We've lived in Flagstaff and have taken countless drives to Sedona, but we've always passed by the Overlook. I can't believe we never stopped! We had family in town so we made the stop and it was GORGEOUS. What an amazing view of Oak Creek Canyon. Take the few minutes and make the stop before you drive down into Sedona.

On our way out of Sedona we stopped on the Oak Creek Vista Overlook. The bathroom facilities were clean, the artisans were friendly, and the views were aesthetically pleasing.
