It is worth the stop! There will be a few vendors at the top. They are pretty good people! Good bathrooms.

Very scenic and hiking trails will take you all around the beautiful rock formations. Sometimes parking is at a premium, but there are several different overlooks in the area.

On the way to the Grand Canyon from Sedona, we stopped in not knowing what awaited us. First of all, it was nippy at 9 am; then, the facilities were not yet opened. The Native Americans who sell souvenirs were just setting up their wares (beautiful pieces of jewelry and other adornments)...but the view...just spectacular! Worth the stop.

I was sad to leave Sedona but enjoyed the view from this overlook, worth the stop. I'm a photographer and took several pictures.

This is located at the top of the switchbacks on 89A heading to Flagstaff. This is a not to be missed view from on high. There is a Ranger Station, and rustic bathroom facilities. There is also many Native American artists showing and selling their beautiful jewelry, pottery, etc. This is a short drive from Sedona through the beautiful Oak... More

The drive through Oak Creek on our way to Meteor Crater and Petrified National Forest/Painted Desert national Park was quite beautiful. The drive was a bit treacherous, some ice and snow in the valley - ell worth the drive - take your time and drive through during the day.

I decided to take 89A to Sedona and wanted to stop at this overpass because I'd read about it. Even though I was looking for a turn in, I accidentally drove past it because it wasn't well marked in advance (as least coming from Flagstaff to Sedona). It was on the left side when I headed down from Flagstaff. The... More

nice place to stop while driving through Oak Creek Canyon. Not the most amazing view, but very nice. There were also Native American vendors selling mostly jewelry, ornaments, and a bit of other stuff.
