If you are lucky, the Native American Market will be open when you stop by. This is a legitimate business where you can be assured that the items offered are "the real deal." I bought a beautiful hand made sterling pendant, a vase and a fired clay Christmas ornament.

The Oak Creek visa is breathtaking, very peaceful and short walk to see the beauty of the Oak Creek.

Pause for a while at this overlook and admire the Oak Creek scenery. This part of the earth is an amazingly pretty spot. The scenes from up here are very appealing. Winds can be pretty strong up there, like they were for us when we stopped. Still, it is worth a visit!

Great view of the road you have travelled up, or will be travelling down into Sedona. I walked around and was surprised by the voice of a climber, sitting on the edge of a long steep cliff: "How is it going dude?", he asked me in a friendly voice. I walked back around to the outlook to see his friends... More

This site gives you a panoramic view of Sedona and the surrounding areas! IT is beautiful and worth the short drive up to see these wonders.

Stopped off for the views, which were beautiful. We were surprised to see a small ranger station there, with a few gifts and souvenirs. There were pleased to see Native Americans selling their authentic crafts and souvenirs.

Quite a few vantage points to view the magnificent scenery. The information on the geology of the layers was quite interesting. The day we were there the Indian Market was set up. Look for the woman with the shop in Flagstaff.

The views of Oak Creek Canyon are wonderful, but the best reason to go the the Oak Creek Vista Overlook is the Native American handicraft sales. The jewelry, etc, is genuine, made and sold by Native Americans (mostly Navaho) at fair prices. It is definitely worth a stop.

Oak Creek Canyon drive is beautiful & the vista pull off is worth the trip in itself. A bonus is the visitor center is run by a non profit group so items are sold tax free.

We were staying in Sedona and decided to take the trip up to the Vista Overlook. the road going up had wonderful views and long drops down. We were not that close to the edge but close enough to see the drop and the beauty. One we hit the Overlook we were surprised at the stark difference between the area... More
