This overlook is not as beautiful as the rest of the Oak Creek Canyon drive. It is worth a short stop for the view, but a longer stop for the Native Crafts vendors that set up here. Each day brings a different group of artisans.

The view is very nice though there are a lot of these in this part of the country...there are far more stunning views once you get to Sedona itself. Certainly worth a few minutes if you are in the area.

Be sure to stop on your way from Sedona to Flagstaff/Grand Canyon. Take your time to enjoy the long winding uphill climb with numerous chances to enjoy the landscape. Gorgeous gorge views along the path as well as an opportunity to shop the local Indian crafts/jewelry and talk to the engaging locals

After driving up Oak Creek Canyon on 89A north, this stop is a must. You can look down into the canyon and see the sharp switch backs of the highway. Licensed native American artists sell ther wares at this stop.

The view (and the drive up on 89A) was a highlight of our stay in Sedona. The expanse of trees and mountains truly puts life in perspective - I truly felt humbled by the grandeur. Make the drive, breathe the fresh air, and appreciate the hush from up there!

Saw this as part of the Great Ventures Grand Canyon Tour. Elevation was incredible and views were wonderful with the changing leaves.

My wife and I were traveling from Sedona to Flagstaff via AZ 89a. The views were the best yet in Arizona and the Overlook offered great 180 deg. views of Ok Creek Canyon. I would definitely visit again.

The Oak Creek Canyon Vista is easy to miss as you drive down 89A, but PLEASE make the stop at this scenic overlook. It was every bit worth the few minutes we spent there. We got some beautiful pictures! The drive is fun, too. Lots of twists and turns and lovely scenery.

We were pleased to arrive here after the winding hairpin bends of the journey to get here! All the stopping places along the roadside were blocked off so there had been nowhere to pull in and admire the view until we arrived at this scenic spot. There are clean toilets here and various stalls selling local arts and crafts. A... More

Asked for a table outside and was given one right next to a solo diner with his huge German shepherd sited right next to us. We left. Ambiance inside mediocre
