Returned from stay at JW Marriott Desert Ridge. Played 2 courses in 2 days...the TPC Champions and Wildfire Faldo(at the JW). TPC Champions Course was disappointing compared to the Wildfire played the day before. Paid $130 which included range balls and cart (no GPS, but detailed scorecard). It was hard to calculate distances to hazards on our drives. The course... more

Just returned from a week of golf in Scottsdale area and I have to say that the TPC Champions course was the only disappointing course we played all week. As a person who believes you get what you pay for, I'd add the following about this $130 fee course: - Service of all employees was very good. Prompt welcome, free... more

the new TPC Champions Course has great variety and strategy. The greens have subtle movement with several pin locations tucked behind bunkers. The landscaping surrounding the course looks great. more
