This is a small museum that doesn't take long to see. The works are by current artists who are Native Americans. Many use historical influences while creating something new and different.

This museum is so small - it was disappointing! We took our 9 year old child, looked and read as much as possible. The tour took 15 minutes.

Very small exhibit. $5 admission. Not much here. More shop than museum. Small cafe, but a large parking lot. Disappointed. Go to downtown Phoenix campus, much more interesting. Pass.

This is a small, private museum with EXCELLENT docents. People of all ages will learn from their interesting tours of their permanent collections. Coming from the east coast where we are not exposed to this culture, it was fascinating. They also have a lovely rotating exhibit of art. We would definitely return when next in the area.

My wife didn't feel up to visiting the main museum in Phoenix and since this branch was closer, we decided to give it a try. It's a long way north along Scottsdale Road and in a shopping center. They have a restaurant, a gift shop, and two modest sized exhibition halls. They weren't charging admission because one of the halls... More

No need to plan a large amount of time. Try for a discount, such as AAA. Many interesting pieces to see. My 7-year old granson enjoyed creating his own "story" on the storyboard interactive center.

I realize there is a full size Heard Museum downtown. This is just a small exhibit space. The current exhibit of native American drawings is fascinating. I really enjoyed seeing it. The katsina dolls on display were nice but there weren't many. The jewelry and accessories were nice but didn't fascinate. The gift shop is actually half of the experience.... More

The Heard Museum in Scottsdale is just large enough for an hour and a half look at artifacts from Native Americans. We were fascinated at the current exhibits which described how the Native Americans drew pictures in ledger books; they were/are such talented people . The gift shop is very well stocked with lovely items. The museum peaked our interest... More

Great small museum which is not as overwhelming as its parent. Best part was the very tasty meal with the freshest ingredients imaginable. Not a fancy spot but very nice ambiance with the desert garden surrounding the guests. Very quick service and low prices for a museum restaurant. Save room for the Flatbread Sundae as it is very unigue and... More

Small but very well put together. Nice collection of Indian articfacts as well as excellent descriptions of the history. The gift shop is quite nice and the restaurant looked very good, although I wasn't able to dine there.
