I play this course a few times a year. Mainly in july and Nov / Dec and it's always in great shape. They have three "9's" and Canyons is my favorite. Great views of Phoenix from the mountainside course.

After hearing so many great things about the Phoenician perhaps my expectations were set to high. Certainly the staff and facilities are first class, however the course was "good" (we played the canyon/desert combo) some of the views outstanding, but the course grooming just wasn't what I had expected. The practice range is very small and although we tee'd off... More

Thank you for your recent review. We have had large numbers of rounds over the past few months and our very small range has seen a great deal of use. Toward the end of May and the first few weeks of June, we transition from our winter Rye grass back to our summer Bermuda grass, which is why a few... More

One my favorite places to play. It's a resort course so it plays short but it still is challenging. The service is high quality as it is one of the best resorts in the country. The views are amazing and it truly is a beautiful place to play at. They also provide a free download for GPS if you like using... More

Played the Desert and Canyon courses today from the back tees. Not a long track by any means at only about 6200 yards. A number of very picturesque and challenging tight holes with a fair bit of elevation change. The greens were in excellent shape and rolled very true. Some of the tee boxes were a little beat up, but... More

I have played all over the Scottsdale area and I must say my experience at The Phoenician Course today was by far the worst. I rarely if ever complain while playing golf - however today's round pushed me too far. Firstly, the practice area was horrible with hardly any grass to hit off of. Next up - it is about... More

Hi gang, I've always wanted to play an upscale resort course like The Phoenician. Grabbed an early morning spot on GolfNow for $98 and change. I played the Desert / Canyon combo (3rd course is Oasis). As soon as you pull in, the staff is there to take your bag. Pro shop friendly and efficient. Grounds are meticulously maintained, not... We really appreciate your recent review. All golfers are supposed to be presented with a yardage card at the starter booth before they tee off. Obviously you did not receive one and for that we apologize. One other piece of information to note: The Phoenician actually has a great free app available on Google play and in the iPhone app... I played 36 holes, so I got to play all 3 courses. The Canyons was the best in my opinion. Clubhouse and starter were very good and helpful. We saw a Marshall twice on the first 12 holes and then didn't see one again. The last 9 holes took about 3 hours. The greens played true and were in pretty... More

Thank you for the review. Our goal is to get everyone around the course in 4 hours and 29 minutes. It sounds as though your round took longer than we expect and for that we would like to offer our apologies. We are currently weighing our options with regard to GPS on the carts. The entrance to this facility is full of flowers and green grass in first week of March. The golf course is impeccable and well designed. Cactus are everywhere to remind me of where I am. Camelback mountain scenery not too far from the distance. Price is the only thing that may be barrier for an average golfer.
