We stayed one night on the way south. Nice place. Staff helpful, rooms clean and comfortable. Golfed one 18 hole game. Course was enjoyable and challenging.

This is a good resort golf. You get a mix of easy holes and some that challenge you with target golf, water and desert. So, for me this is a good place to enjoy golf and get a good test of your skills. The mountain views make is even better. The clubhouse facilities and the practice area is also nice.

Stayed at the resort and played golf all weekend while the wife laid by the pool. The course was in great shape, staff was super friendly and first class all the way. Beers were cold and saw the cart girl often. Watch your slice because houses line the sides in some places. Super scenery on some cliff side holes.. Wow.... More

We played Oasis Desert courses in August. The fairways were very green with the help of recent monsoon rains. Desert offered spectacular views. Be prepared to play on uneven footing the whole way on every shot. So if you normally play/practice on flat terrain, then this course will be humbling for sure with the ball always above or below your... More

I play this course a few times a year. Mainly in july and Nov / Dec and it's always in great shape. They have three "9's" and Canyons is my favorite. Great views of Phoenix from the mountainside course.

After hearing so many great things about the Phoenician perhaps my expectations were set to high. Certainly the staff and facilities are first class, however the course was "good" (we played the canyon/desert combo) some of the views outstanding, but the course grooming just wasn't what I had expected. The practice range is very small and although we tee'd off... More

Thank you for your recent review. We have had large numbers of rounds over the past few months and our very small range has seen a great deal of use. Toward the end of May and the first few weeks of June, we transition from our winter Rye grass back to our summer Bermuda grass, which is why a few... More

One my favorite places to play. It's a resort course so it plays short but it still is challenging. The service is high quality as it is one of the best resorts in the country. The views are amazing and it truly is a beautiful place to play at. They also provide a free download for GPS if you like using... More

Played the Desert and Canyon courses today from the back tees. Not a long track by any means at only about 6200 yards. A number of very picturesque and challenging tight holes with a fair bit of elevation change. The greens were in excellent shape and rolled very true. Some of the tee boxes were a little beat up, but... More

I have played all over the Scottsdale area and I must say my experience at The Phoenician Course today was by far the worst. I rarely if ever complain while playing golf - however today's round pushed me too far. Firstly, the practice area was horrible with hardly any grass to hit off of. Next up - it is about... More
