Course was average condition, greens we ok, overall condition was good. Only thing you'll remember is the waterfall with the blue water behind the par 5 9th. Wouldn't pay that kind of money to play there when you could play many other great courses in the area for around the same $$$$$

I got the opportunity to play Gainey Ranch through my Club Corp subscription and it was a very pleasurable experience. Not being a big hitter, I enjoyed the length of both the courses I played, Arroyo(3183) and Dunes(2950). Unfortunately, I was a few minutes late for my tee time, so I ended up playing the course by myself. It was... More

The Chef at Gainey Ranch is also a great golfer. If you're lucky, he'll be out and about (especially in the summer) and eagerly waiting to give you a private tour. He gave my sister and I a private tour of both courses and we fell in love. It's definitely a stop we try to make when we visit the... More

Ill be short. Lakes is lovely. water everywhere and some nice twists and turns. the other 2 were either closed or burned within an inch of their lives for re-seeding. people describe this as a test too..... not at all. short, all par 5s reachable with ease and not one challenging long par 4 etc. you will shoot under your... Summer in Scottsdale...not the best time of year to golf, but if you can get out early enough it is a tremendous value. Gainey Ranch was in surprisingly good condition considering most courses close during this time of year. There are three nines, so we didn't experience the Dunes course, but the other two were spectacular layouts. Greens could have... More

Staff is great. Summer rates are great. My course at home in Austin TX is far nicer. Not dessert course feel, like the TPC and fairways were a little ruff. Greens in nice shape

We played The Dunes and Arroyo back to back days while visiting Scottsdale last week and found it to be in great condition for July... While talking to some folks at the course, You can try to grow grass in AZ, but it's just not easy. We were there during monsoon season, so there was a little water on the... More

We enjoy playing Gainey Ranch through the ClubCorp Signature Gold program. The course was in great shape and the staff is terrific as always.
