Driving down a rough, rocky, dusty, hilly road in the scenic Sonoran desert is the perfect 3.5 hour getaway from the city. You will definitely come back dusty! The Tomcar ATV seats four and has a wider wheelbase than usual giving first timers a little more confidence. This does NOT have power steering so you will have to "tame the... More

Thumbs up to Desert Wolf and our guide, Brandon, who made the trip both fun and informative. We learned a lot about the desert plants and history, and my husband absolutely loved tooling around in the Tomcar -- way more fun than being driven around, but next time, I get to drive!

I've been on jeep tours where you ride in the back down rustic roads. This ain't that type of tour. YOU drive down some tough trails in a great off road car that is about as comfortable as your going to find in serious off roading. Our guide Chris was great at showing us the sights and teaching us about... More

Great tour of Sonoran desert. Tomcar was fun. Brandon was our guide. Very knowledgable about desert. Saw lots of scenic areas. Saw rattlesnake and a coyote and a chuckwalla. Memorable time. Thanks!

I recently went on my third Desert Wolf Tour, and every time I go they get better and better! My guides, Brandon and Hunter, have taken me on a couple of different routes now, and each time I feel like I have a completely different experience in the Sonoran Desert. Brandon's knowledge of the American Indian history, artifacts, ruins, geology... More

Unfortunately the Tour did not go as planned , not because of the Guide, he was great, but because what we expected is not what we received. 8 of us went on this trip expecting to be paired up in our own cars and get to drive half the time each but sad enough we were placed in 2 less... More

We received your reservation from the third party and prepared for what they indicated you wanted. They decide what they charge for the tours and what tours are offered. We... More

I wasn't sure what to make of this when I signed up but it turned out to be the most fun I had in the Phoenix area. My 24 year old son was in heaven driving the Tomcar (Israeli military vehicle) and in fact we saw another group of more typical ATV vehicles and he commented he was glad I... More

I'm a 48 year old Phoenician mom who decided to take my 2 teen nephews since they were in town from NC. I wasn't expecting to have such a great time, but it was awesome. All 3 of us had a blast in the Tomcar. I loved driving it over the rocky terrain. Our guide, Brandon, was super knowledgeable about... More

Our family of 5 had an excellent time on the 3 hour tomcar tour. Henry, our guide was knowledgeable and made the trip very enjoyable. In the afternoon, we went to the firearm experience. I was very reluctant about this part of our day. However, Chris and Hunter were both exceptional. They worked very closely with our 3 boys to... More
