We have been wanting to do this for 4 years and finally said, "what the heck lets do this". Darrell Crum was our guide, what a great guy. His positive attitude was contagious and also made us feel very welcome. His sense of humor and quick smile was so much fun to be around. We left from the Road Runner... More

There's nothing better than a bunch of former Marines giving vacationers fun desert tours in Israeli designed vehicles. The wife and I had a blast!!! Probably the best anniversary vacation we ever had simply because of the Tomcar fun. Not to mention, we did see and learn quite a bit about desert foliage and aquaduct history. Absolutely recommended for honeymooners... More

Had a private tour with Alex King. He was very nice, entertaining, informative and likable tour guide. We were able to cover more ground and drive faster since we were the only two guests today. He was very impressed with us two women drivers from AR. I highly recommend the tour. He offered for us to stop and use the... More

Experiencing the Sonoran Desert on tomcars was fantastic! Our tour guide Darrell was awesome! He was well informed about everything in the desert and actually took the time to use our camera to take pictures of us out there. We really appreciated that aspect, as compared to some tours where the only pics you get are the ones you purchase... More

Desert Wolf Tours was amazing! Our tour guide, Alex, was professional, knowledgeable, encouraging, and just plan fun!! The entire adventure was both exciting and relaxing. A much needed, and awesome way, to end a work trip. Thanks for the great adventure!! We want to do it again when we are back in the area.

This trip was amazing, we saw and experienced the parts of the desert that we wouldn't have dreamt of going to. Our guide Alex was fantastic, he not only gave us instruction and encouragement with the driving of the Tomcar's but told us about all of the Cacti and other plants we came across, as well as the historical landmarks.... The Tomcar rules! With our trusted guide Alex we were able to cover rugged terrain in short order, and really see parts of the desert that we would never be able to reach ourselves on foot. Loved the Native American history part of our tour, and the great photo ops and scenery. This was worth the tariff and the drive... More

Loved loved loved this part of our trip! We saved this for last, not because we wanted to, but because they were booked up until the last full day we were in AZ. And I am glad we were able to go. We did the firearms experience only, and had a complete blast. Alex was our guide and was great.... More

This tour started at the Road Runner in New River. just north of Anthem. They use Tomcars which are superior off road vehicles designed originally by Israeli army.( see website tomcar.com). After only about 1/4 mile from the starting point we were into serious off road trails that went through woods and emerged to cross over I17 on Table Mesa... More
