Riding the Tomcar is the most comfortable way to see the desert. Then if you are lucky enough to have Brandon as your guide - you have the whole package! The experience of being in the desert combined with a wealth of information about the Indians of the past, plants, the terrain, rock formations etc. etc. etc. It is dusty,... More

Wow - what a great experience! We decided to book this based on trip advisor reviews and did so along with a shooting/firearms experience. It was worth every penny - Henry was our Tom Car tour guide - a lot of fun. The tour is outstanding - very dusty which they prep you on - but the views and experience... More

There were 5 Tomcars on our tour, which was, as our tremendous guide, Chris described, "some of the roughest terrain on earth" and a blast to navigate! Chris was extremely knowledgeable about the terrain, the wildlife and the vegetation. He was very engaging, spending time in each Tomcar to give everyone the opportunity to ask questions individually and chat with... More

We did the Tom cars and shooting...Darryl was a great tour leader in the desert...fun and so worth it. The fireamms training was great. I never shot a gun before and Chris, our trainer, was so experienced and knowledgeable. He made me feel safe and helped me when I needed it. He was Awesome!

The reservation process was very professional with an email confirmation including all pertinent details. We were fortunate enough to have Brandon as our tour guide. One of the best guides we have encountered on many excursions. He made it lots of fun with plenty of time to enjoy tooling around in the Tomcars and stopping periodically to explain different desert... More

Driving down a rough, rocky, dusty, hilly road in the scenic Sonoran desert is the perfect 3.5 hour getaway from the city. You will definitely come back dusty! The Tomcar ATV seats four and has a wider wheelbase than usual giving first timers a little more confidence. This does NOT have power steering so you will have to "tame the... More

Thumbs up to Desert Wolf and our guide, Brandon, who made the trip both fun and informative. We learned a lot about the desert plants and history, and my husband absolutely loved tooling around in the Tomcar -- way more fun than being driven around, but next time, I get to drive!
