Pros: Possibly the scenery but not much more. Cons: Overpriced and rather uneventful. $315 for two people and a two-hour round trip. The terrain is flat. The route is "controlled" and slow-moving. I agree with one of the other reviewers that the photos/advertisements are a bit misleading: This is not a high-speed, driving-through-the-river adventure. All vehicles move in a caravan;... More

We did the Tom Car expedition and it was so much fun. Drew did an awesome job showing us around and explaining all about the wildlife, scenery, and the cactus. Would definitely do it again.

This was my favorite adventure!! We did hot air ballooning and hiking. Our guide was very informative, provided us with chilled water, and just very sweet overall. It was so much fun riding in these Tom cars made by Israeli military. The suspension on the wheels was so good, went over rugged terrain and did not even feel it. Would... More

Our guides were very kind and greeted us as we arrived and proceeded to give us a quick overview of the vehicles. You travel in line formation at a comfortable pace, sometimes fast, sometimes slow depending on the terrain. On our day of travel it had been extremely dry so there was a lot of dust but tolerable with the... More

We were picked up at our hotel by Alex. He was so nice and informative. I have twins who are 5 and another child that is 7. I was a little worried about the length of the trip that my kids would dislike it for being too long, but they loved it. I think that was solely due to Alex.... More

We were picked up at our hotel and taken to to the reserve by our friendly and knowledgeable guide, John. We had an an exhilarating ride through the desert where we travelled over some very rough rock strewn patches and a lot of dusty roads. We stopped a couple of times in different areas and learned some interesting facts about... More

We went on the Green Zebra March 26, 2014. We were really excited because we wanted to get dirty, have an adrenaline rush and see some desert. What was marketed was not what was given. We went about 10mph on a dusty road to look at horses. The first stop learning about the cacti was neat and very interesting but... More

Dear Drumdaisy, Thank you for your feedback on our tour! Your comments are greatly appreciated! As far as speed, there are several factors that impact this including dust levels, the amount of the cars out, and rocky terrain areas on the trails. On this specific day, our professional guides must have believed that the speed and pace set were the... More

Jim from Green Zebra picked my daughter and me up from the Royal Palms and the adventure began. He was a wellspring of knowledge; there is something singular about a guide who loves where he is and what he is doing. ; ) He let us in on facts and lore, trivia and more re. Arizona, Phoenix, the Sonoran Desert,... More

Holy dust! Seriously, at times you can only see the cars brake lights in front of you. Guides were awesome and very knowledgeable about the desert. Gave a first hand painful demostration of what happens when a cactus barb gets on your skin. The trip would have been great but we several of the groups cars kept breaking down. The... More

Dear Blankenboat, Thank you for your helpful comments that explained what you liked and what you did not. Our guides are awesome and I will pass along your praise of their professionalism. To address the dust levels as well as vehicle breakdowns, unfortunately those are aspects out of our control. In the desert, dust is always a factor; even more... More

Dear Ariel M, Families are a tremendous joy to have on the tour! Our guides love taking families out to see parts of the Indian reservation that can only be seen by driving further out into the desert, such as the wildlife. Thank you for joining us and for your nice comment! Sincerely, Michelle Spokojny More
