Went for an hour long trail ride last week with 2 of my good friends. Ryan took us out. It was exactly as we expected...fun! Be careful to not choose Cave Creek Trailrides when mapping your directions. We ran a little late because of this mistake on our part. Ryan was super cool about us being a few minutes late.... More

We chose this place based on reviews here and were not disappointed. We booked a 2 hour ride and we were the only ones on it. Jeff was our guide, Joe and Annie were our horses. We were impressed when we drove up - very easy to find based on clear directions. There were many horses prepped for the day... More

We had a great 2 hour ride on a Sunday morning after a few days of showers, so the desert was alive with blooming cactus and wildlife was very active. I'm sorry I can't remember our wrangler's name, but he was very thorough in explaining the plants and animals we were seeing on the ride. This was our first trip... More

This was a 1 hour ride with John. John did a fantastic job with the group. We had some initial nervousness from my 8 year old. It was a great ride, appropriate for the skill level of the riders. The horses were well behaved. John was good highlighting the flora and fauna. Overall we were very happy.

We took a 2 hour ride with John. The views were wonderful, the horses fairly well-behaved, and sharing the ride with friends - priceless. John was knowledgeable about the flora and the fauna and shared throughout the trip. I am an experienced rider but still found the ride very enjoyable. A less-experienced friend felt safe and comfortable on the horse.... More

This place has been around for a long time, and it's a classic, fabulous spot with well trained horses and terrific guides. It's under new ownership and I am praying it doesn't change. Our guide James taught us a lot about the desert flora and fauna. He had a great sense of humor and the scenery was gorgeous.

A week at a conference meant me and two colleagues had seen only the inside of meeting rooms for four days! I am so very pleased we took the trouble to find a truly local activity to experience the wonder of Arizona. A ride with the Creek Outfitters team for 2 hours was incredible and something we'll never forget......it brought... More

We were in Scottsdale and looking for a day trip. We are reasonably experienced riders and wanted something more interesting and customized than a short trail ride. The half day ride with James fit the bill. He had worked at or was familiar with a number of outfitters we have used for rides around the west. He is one of... More

We did the two hour ride with James. The horses were great considering most of our group had never been on one. Be prepared to have a sore butt when you're done! I would have been fine with a 90 minute ride. The last half hour seemed to drag for both us and the horses. Wear long pants (we did... More

We recently enjoyed two tours of the Sonoran Desert by horseback. Once in February and once in March 2015. Our guides were Ryan and Brad, and they were fabulous. Once we left the staging area, we were immediately immersed in some of the best desert scenery we've ever seen. As Ryan pointed out, we were surrounded by seven mountain ranges!... More
