If you're looking to get away from the tchotchke filled shops of old town but still desire to purchase original art, pottery or, jewelry then this is your spot. I felt the shops and artists in this district were much better than those in Old Town & much more affordable than those on East Main. Be sure to check out... More

Fifth Avenue has quite a bit of shopping, delicious restaurants and pubs. You can also spend the day looking at the beautiful art and sculpture museums along the art walk. In the evening the streets and trees come alive in beautiful white lights. A definite must if your in Scottsdale.

There are a few very nice shops here scattered among the more typical touristy ones. Do check out the canal area nearby.

We came here because a friend recommended it. Free parking on the street for three hours was helpful. We parked right by the horse fountain which was attractive. Most of the shops are similar with Native American jewelry or tee shirt type shops. However we did buy a few things at a car and angel shop which was unique and... More

This place is all about shopping and eating. But if you like to do both, than this is a beautiful place to do it. Lots of interesting architecture, sculptures, and pretty landscaping. It's all outside though so at certain times of the year, you probably want to consider the nearby mall.

...or better yet don't drive on Fifth Ave. The City of Scottsdale must believe that our visitors are idiot drivers judging by the way they manage traffic on Fifth Ave. As a good example I present the Fifth Ave roundabout. Rome has multiple lane roundabouts that work just fine for Italian drivers, but they had to put a stop sign... More

Tons of shops with art and jewelry and other things you can never live without! If you don't want to spend the money, just go and visit the shops.. so many talented artists! Across Scottsdale Rd is the "tourista" shops, which are also quite fun..... loads of good places to eat in the area..... can easily to a full day...

Fifth Avenue & Old Town are both great places to visit - even while crawling with tourists! Don't miss Thursday Night Art Walk
