fair place to go and see to stroll and shop and dine Like it and would go back with out of town guests. Go early in the day and make sure you explore areas with in 2 miles around this district. Its not disney land

...or better yet don't drive on Fifth Ave. The City of Scottsdale must believe that our visitors are idiot drivers judging by the way they manage traffic on Fifth Ave. As a good example I present the Fifth Ave roundabout. Rome has multiple lane roundabouts that work just fine for Italian drivers, but they had to put a stop sign... More

Tons of shops with art and jewelry and other things you can never live without! If you don't want to spend the money, just go and visit the shops.. so many talented artists! Across Scottsdale Rd is the "tourista" shops, which are also quite fun..... loads of good places to eat in the area..... can easily to a full day...

Fifth Avenue & Old Town are both great places to visit - even while crawling with tourists! Don't miss Thursday Night Art Walk

Lots of shops and Galleries some alittle over priced. Most are repetative. If you want authentic Items made in Arizona by the locals Pay attention most things are made outside the USA . But you can have a good time Here

It would be nice if every town had a spot like this where you could walk around art galleries and shops. It's probably why Old Town Scottsdale and the Fifth Avenue area are so extensive, it really can be a wonderful experience to be "urban" in such a suburban location.

I guess if you like to walk and shop for jewellery and cheesy tourist trinkets it would be a great. Was really hot the day we visited the area, and got really sick of walking and standing on the street in the heat. Didn't really see anything that I would purchase, but to be fair we didn't really go to... More

Interesting shops from western motif to high end art and jewelery. Nightlife from comedy to clubs. Must see if visiting Scottsdale. Highly recommend

No matter where someone has been, or what shopping they have experienced, Fifth Avenue will hold its own. When we see postcards from Europe, it all looks inviting. When you are there in person, some yes some no. The same is true of 5th Avenue. The good, the bad, and sometimes the ugly, a good example of upscale capitalism.
