I live here in metro Phoenix and play a fair amount of golf. This property, both courses, are among the best of the public places to play, and are probably my favorite local venue. I personally favor the South Course, but the North Course gets more publicity and has a great layout as well. Bring your "A game," and you'll... More

I am a beginner golfer. Played the South course with my husband and son and really enjoyed it! The course is in great shape...the greens were extremely short and challenging. The staff was very helpful! The mountain views were incredible..our pictures are breathtaking! Will definitely play Talking Stick again when we are in town!

First time playing golf in Arizona.Enjoyed this course a lot visiting from New Jersey. Majority of the holes had a great backdrop of the mountains. Back 9 was a lot harder then the front 9 especially when wind picked up. Would definitely play again. Pro shop staff was very helpful

Picked this course for a guys weekend of golf. Of three courses played by far it was the best. From the staff, facilities and course condition nothing could have been better. Another weekend planned for 2015 and this course is on the schedule.

My son and I came to Scottsdale for a father/son golf getaway for 5 days just to get away from the cold in Wisconsin. Perfect timing as the Midwest was having super cold temperatures and snow. Anyway, we landed in Phoenix at 11:00 am and had a tee time at Talking Stick North Course at 1:10 pm. We made it... More

So first of all this is a perfectly nice course. The staff were all very friendly, and we had a good time playing there. However, I really would not describe this course as anything other than a nice municipal golf course. I don't know how they get away charging as much as they do for such a "egh" experience. We... Troon has managed these two 18 hole courses for many years, but a new company is taking over. The old team was terrific, but these courses are both beautiful, friendly resort courses with a great view from the terrace bar after golf We shall see about the changes and the new team The new discount card looks reasonably priced.

This course has beautiful fairways and greens in immaculate condition. However we were not allowed to drive on course due to grass seeding? Had a 15 minute late start and play was very slow, unable to finish last 4 holes. Course is long and boring, most every hole looks the same. a nice course but not what we were expecting.

Greens are like putting on glass. You really have to hit it short and let it run to the flag. Nice desert decor and even saw horses grazing nearby the hole. Don't play if the course is cart path only. We played North course in the afternoon. It had just finished being overseeded so you get no roll from drives... More

This is a very good course. However they have an infestation of mosquitos. I have never seen anything like this before anywhere. Unfortunately it does not appear they care about the problem. It is very hard to golf when you are being attacked on every shot. I hope someone hears this.

We appreciate all feedback that allows us to improve our operation. This issue was a rare and unique one in the AZ desert that followed a series of major storms. We have responded in many ways to address this challenge and, thankfully, the recent rare mosquito season was very short-lived. We’re sure if you were to return, and we hope... More
