Lynx Lake is awesome, we hiked along south Lynx Creek with my dog. Great place to cool down, lots of shade trees, lots of pools to jump in. Awsome place to explore

Lynx Lake has well-marked trails, circumnavigating the small reservoir, two sizable and well-used campgrounds, and numerous fishing piers along the shores. An interesting cafe serves German and American fare, from March through November.

You are by the lake - you are in the pines - you are with nature. What is really nice is half of the trail has blacktop so you can use a stroller on the trail.

We like to bring lunch over here, walk a bit around the paths and maybe stay to read awhile. The kayaking looks peaceful and the Arizona sunshine makes this a great little outing for... More

While there is a plethora of trails, hiking as well as multi use, in the vicinity, my review pertains to trail 311 which goes around the lake. You can start at the north or the south end, both boast a noce parking ot and picnic areas with closedbarbecues, nice trestle tables and benches as well as restrooms. There is a... More

The Lynx Lake rec area offers a variety of trails. My favorite is the trail 311 that goes around the entire lake. I prefer the rugged side, where you will get a pretty good workout and you can also see bald eagles quite frequently. On the north and south shore, you have quite a few tables with grills where you... More

Lynx Lake Cafe is super good and reasonable priced. Had breakfast while watching the hummingbirds and looking at lake. Service is great too, a must visit.
