Costs $5 to park there but the walk was finished in 40 minutes! Nice environment. Next time I will eat and park at German restaurant by lake - it looked interesting.

Great hiking path around lake, & lake small enough to hike around in short period of time. Has a little store & restaurant, & a camping area, which we didn't use, but convenient to have them there.

We had a wonderful hike around the lake. We got there around 9 am on a weekend and it wasn't super crowded. The lake is quite pretty and there were many people fishing from the shore or out on boats, canoes, or paddle boats (all of which you can rent). There is a detailed map at the parking area which... Nice, easy to hike trails around Lynx Lake. Clean with plenty of fishing. Didn't like the bugs, mosquitoes. Forgot my "Off".

Loved being able to rent a boat. Would have been nice to have a canopy, even a partial to block hot sun. Beautiful scenery. Friendly and helpful staff. Sorry to say my husband didn't catch any fish. We will return with family. Would highly recommend for a family outing.

The lake is beautiful to look at. I guess its good for kayaking and walking. Our trip was based around fishing; Fishing was lousy! You'd think they would keep a tourist attraction like Lynx Lake well stocked, it's one of the cities biggest tourist draws. The folks in the store were really nice, as was the guys working the boat... More

Dry camp. Be prepared. Generators off by 10p.m. By mindful of the loops you pick as some do not have a bathroom in the loop to help conserve your grey water and sewer options. The campground is clean and the pads are level. No usage of the fire pit due to the drought conditions. Nice hiking to the lake and... More

We visited four lakes in Prescott recently. Goldwater Lake, Watson Lake, Willow Lake and Lynx Lake. Of all four Lynx was absolutely the most beautiful. Great place to do some R&R, enjoy the scenery and have a picnic. The Cafe' was not open during our visit. If you wish to see any lake in Prescott go on a Wednesday. There... More

This is a beautiful lake area right by Prescott. There's a little store and restaurant, very quaint and the food is good. There are 2 parking lots, the first one you encounter has quite a walk down to the water. The second one is where the boats and stuff are. We enjoy this lake. We always appreciate it when trip... My wife and I have been to Lynx Lake a few times and our favorite lake to see when in Prescott. The trails are wonderful and not too hard to do. It is about 2 miles around the lake and you can also rent some kayaks or take some small boats, as they have boat ramps. Fish, hike, camp, picnic or eat at... More
