We went here for a comedy show and we chose our seats rather than be ushered to the front of the room. The wait staff barely paid any attention to us. We ordered a bucket of beer to avoid having to wait for them to return. The noise from the kitchen/wait staff distracted the entire show. They constantly left the... More

I was just here this past weekend with my wife and relatives for the Stevo (Jackass Show) comedy thing and this was my second time coming here and observed a few things and felt like sharing. One thing was the tight cramped feeling being close together.....I didn't appreciate that, but I let that slide.....My wife told me that the earlier... More

I've been here a few times for amature nights, charity events, and to see Taylor Williamson. Always had a good time. I've only ordered appetizers so I can't really comment too much on the food. It was good but a bit over priced as these types of venues often are. When going to comedy shows I always plan on eating... More

I took my boyfriend to the Improv to see Carlos Mencia. We had a blast. I had gone during the second week of the opening of the Improv and the food and drinks were not all that great but obviously it was only the second week so no biggie. This time it was so much better! We cannot wait to... More

The layout is good for seating, but with the price you pay for tickets, and then drinks with a forced 2 drink minimum (no drink prices on the menu, and the waiter tells you anywhere from 10-20 dollars a drink), and 13 dollar nachos, and the comedians we saw were okay.

Drove from California to see The Tenderloins, if you haven't heard of them do yourself a favor and Google them and watch Impractical Jokers on TruTV Thursday nights. The venue was okay but the greeter/hostess seemed completely unorganized. As with any comedy club it was rather pricey, we upgraded to get better seats and could choose dinner or bottle service.... Tempe Improv isn’t run with any common sense. We arrived hungry and thirsty but had to wait over an hour in the lobby, while in the club, there was a staff meeting that should have been scheduled on a non-business day—big profit opportunity missed. Meanwhile the lobby was filling up fast with hungry people with money in their pockets to... More

As big time comedy fans my wife and I see at least one show a month. When The Improv closed last year we lost one of the big venues to attend. But it's back! And they fixed some of the things that casual attendees will appreciate. 1- the menu is better (but let's be real- it's a comedy club, not... More

Went to the Tempe Improv to see Bob Marley with friends on a Thursday night and had a wonderful time. Bought our tickets online before the show and had no issues with that. The Improv is set up similar to Stand Up Live in Phoenix, however, it seems to me that there is a little more room in the seating... More
