Hi gang, Played here April 2014. I decided to try an upper-scale resort course based on the reviews of some of the local courses. Checking in was easy although the pro shop is a hop, skip and jump from the parking lot and bag drop. Your clubs are immediately placed on your cart and you're pointed toward the practice area... All I can say about the view from #10 is: BREATHTAKING! Course is not that difficult if you can stay out of the desert areas. played 3 days, and was all over the place score wise. 11 handicap, shot 84, 95, 79. That said, the staff is top notch! this is a must return to place to play!

The course was in great shape... fairways lush and greens fast. The views are great throughout the course. Clubhouse and practice facilities were very nice. The starter got us off 30 min early in order to finish before sunset. took 4 1/2 hours... perfect. As others have mentioned, there are some spots on the course where road noise is present,... More

We had the pleasure of playing the Lookout Mountain Course at Tapatio Cliffs, and it is definitely on our list for a repeat visit next time in the Scottsdale area. All staff we ineracted with were very friendly. We were able to tee off 30 minutes before our 12:00 noon tee time, which helped us get to the Coyotes Hockey... More

Lookout Mountain golf course was a combination of desert and mountain golf w/ many views of the area. Fun to play w/ many elevated tees, thus the related views.. Staff very helpful and excellent practice facility.

Enter this club via hotel in Topatio Cliffs, west of 51. Service was professional and pleasant. Cart path only for another week so we had the course to ourselves. Fairways in good shape. Greens challenging. Some water. Plenty of sand traps to cause trouble. Nice mix of short and long holes. Course is surrounded by mountains. A driving range, putting,... More

This course has a decent layout with lots of elevation changes and small landing areas off the tees. Played 36 holes here for $91 booked through standby golf, which was great value. Greens were very slow, bumpy and hairy however as the course came out of reseeding about a week or 10 days prior to us playing it. Enjoyed some... More

The course was in decent shape with fairly wide fairways, but a lot of trouble especially bunkers strategically placed. The starter did a very good job of explaining the nuances of the course. We started at about 1:30pm on a Sunday. There are some unusual features to the course. One is as previously mentioned you have to take the golf... More

A nice course that suffers from encroachment by urban sprawl. Contrary to photos that show ONLY the few scenic vistas, most of the course is surrounded by housing, businesses or highways. Noise is a big problem due to traffic on the highway or from the adjacent homes (kids crying, dogs barking) and businesses (dog kennel). Course is actually located 1/4... More
