We had the pleasure of playing golf at Club West on our recent stay in the Phoenix area. Despite recent over-seeding, the course was very playable and in overall good condition. Pace of play was spot right on at 4 hours and all staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful. You can't ask much more than that from a... More

Course was scenic and in decent condition. Staff was nice. Overseeding made it cart path only which was a bit of a pain. The greens were like shag carpets ... waaaaaaay too slow.

I've played here in past trips used to be an excellent place to play . Played May 9 what a terribly conditioned track . Some tees literally no grass ,greens hard as rock ( looked totally browned out ),fairways also burnt out .I was told the owners were not putting water on the course because they couldn't afford it .No... it's generally well conditioned, has some elevation changes, not overly long, not too expensive -- and some of my kids & grandkids live nearby making it a really convenient place to play with some of them when they have time. it's in my top 5 in the valley to play

Nice views of South Mountain throughout, but much nicer on the back nine. This course is for long shooters. Straight shooters will also like this course. In very good shape, however the greens are fast and need some fill. Nice clubhouse, however the grill is closed during summer months.

Played here with my Father-in-law On February 12th. There were a couple bizzarre things such as a tree planted right in the middle of the first tee box-not sure what they were thinking with that one. Also, the gimmicky 17th hole with 2 greens is just odd, they should just make one decent sized green instead of 2 tiny ones.... More

Just an average course for the price. But if you get to know the guys inside, you can work out a deal for a really low price!

Living in Club West, I can honestly say what a beautiful area. We were excited at the prospect of living within easy walking distance of the Club House. We are not golfers but big believers in community spirit and supporting local businesses. The grill and bar are poor, and so is the service. The acoustics of the main bar area... More

I have been organizing and participating in golf outings for more than 20 years. Without exception, Club West was the worse experience in golf service I have ever witnessed. I wish I had read the 2010 reviews of this course. Avoid at all costs...there are so many better options in the Scottsdale-Phoenix area.
