Fun and forgiving layout except around the greens. Fairways are wide with some trouble and lots of trees in the rough. Not a desert course. Condition was very nice. There is a lot of sand. Many of the traps are back from the green so you can have some long sand shots. It was our first time so some of... More

Course is very nice but you can play the same quality of course for less in the area. They only give Junior rates if kids are 15 and under. This is the only course we played all week that did not give me a discounted rate for my 16 year old son.Tees times are very close together and you had... More

These accomodations are crazy. The interior decor is so gaudy you wouldn't believe. It looks like the kind of place that your grandma would say is really nice. How about those vine work wallpaper borders all over the room? Nice touch. And oh, the wooden venetian column heads nailed into entryways, stunning. Word brah, how about the vermin that were... More

My husband and I made a last minute trip down to Phoenix to Golf just before Christmas. We loved Raven. It is beautiful and the course was in amazing shape. We did find the $100 per person per round a bit pricey but we tend to pay that or more up in Alberta for great courses. It was nice that... More

But still a track to play, amazing house that makes you feel like your not in the desert, wonderful use of pine trees and red lava rock

Played today....... And going back tomorrow. That in itself should say enough. From the staff, to the course conditions,to the views and the pace of play, this course is a must for those visiting the valley. Taking a brel from true desert golf and enjoying the parkland setting of this course resets the mindset to a true golf experience. As... More

We really enjoyed this course. The only downside we had was we had to stay on the cartpath because of overseeding. The course was well maintained. It was also a forgiving course, it gave you chances to take a tough approach or an easy approach. If you chose the tough approach and screwed up it made you pay. We all... More

The course had just come out of overseeding and was in fantastic shape. Realistic challenge for a mid 80's golfer. Highly recommended.

this course has improved by leaps and bounds in the last couple years. Conditions, service, restaurant/pro shop all very nice. Their OB City Card is a great deal for any golfer living/working in the Phoenix area.

The Raven is not a typical desert course. It has many trees, flowers, some water, and of course, lots of sand. The fairways and tees were in great shape, but the greens were not as good as most of the courses we've played in the Phoenix area. The staff were accommodating and helpful. After our round we stopped in for... More
