This is a must-play course for me whenever I an in Phoenix. A bit pricey but well worth it.
The patio is a great place to relax after a round.

Was staying at the resort on business, so figured I would try their course out. I had seen some of the reviews here beforehand, so I wasn't surprised by anything.
I got a fairly good rate, considering the time of year. The staff was helpful and friendly. Hole #1 goes off in front of the rather classy patio area of...

nice course, you must stay in the fairway because of the houses on the course.

This is not a bad course, and by booking ahead on-line, we paid only $44 each, including cart - not a bad deal at all. The course is not spectacular, but was in good shape and has some interesting holes. There are nicer courses in the area, but most come at a higher price. This is a perfectly decent course...

At a great resort, nice and long, pretty flat, good views!

Played with a group and got a great rate. Back tees were 6288 yards. Lots of water to navigate around on the front nine, more typical desert-style holes on the back. Course in rough shape in a few fairways, but greens putted true. One criticism might be that three of the par3s were the same style-elevated tee shots of moderate to long...

Arizona Grand is not a very difficult course and is very scoreable for low handicappers but the front nine isnt the best nine of golf (its not desert golf as I expected) but the back nine is much better. The course wasnt in the best shape but it is a fun course and I would recommend playing it once but...

Now that it's the Arizona Grand Spa & Golf Resort I was hoping it was an improvement over Phantom Horse. Maybe it will be, but not yet. Mostly cart path only, it would have been better to have walked (if they'd let you). For the price ($149) I expected more. They were doing a lot of work on it so...

great course in South Mountain area with very easy access. Front 9 is classic golf with wide fairways and some water. Back 9 more target, desert course. Not a long course, but many opportunities to get into trouble. We booked through a website and got on for $79 in early Feb. I would definitely play here again. Pro shop merchandise...

Having the opportunity to play the Phantom Horse this summer (2002), I am very excited to see the changes and renovations complete. The course has added to an already beautiful landscape with the addition of length on some holes and making the course more playable. I would recommed taking the time to see these new attractions in the upcoming months.
