The course staff is great. I played a best ball as part of a conference at hotel. Everyone had a great time. Hole 18 is very nice great view.

The front nine plus a couple are terrible. Once you enter the South Mountain park the holes are fun. But overall not worth it.

I really enjoyed this course. It was in good condition and the green fee was very reasonable. The front nine and back nine are quite different so it's like golfing 2 separate courses for the price of one. Some of the holes have spectacular views and are really enjoyable from the right tee box. The staff here are really nice... More

My wife and I played the course today, mainly because we were staying at the AZ Grand Resort. The range has those funky balls which do not fly far. Don't even bother. Might as well just swing your clubs in the parking lot! The course has some pretty holes, mainly on the back nine, but the houses lining the course... More

Stayed here for a short business trip. Very nice grounds, clean and comfortable. Very Good service with the exception of bar service which was slow.

We played here a few years ago when they were rerouting it & had a temp clubhouse. It is much improved. The old "finishing hole" now runs the opposite direction & is #1. It used to be kind of cool with an island green, but now has a "Island tee box" which is weird. They told us they had to... More

Course had a nice set up, but there are a ton of blind shots. Staff was super friendly, and pace of play was excellent (18 holes in 4 hours). Could use more yardage markers, it was hard to tell distances. It will be more fun next time, now that we know the course. We will be back for sure.

We were sadly disappointed with the AZ Grand Golf Course. The front nine was fairly wide open, but the back nine was tricked up and punishing. The practice facilities were sad. A poorly maintained driving range with beat up limited flight balls across the parking lot that you couldn't take a cart to, and a putting green that was in... More

Used to be a favorite course to play... but the recession hit this course hard. Retirement community -so we'll see if they can get past the 401K hazard of the 2007-2010
