Our grandchildren's stage debut was Sound of Music. We attended both shows and it was fantastic. Theater seating is comfortable, about a dozen rows of 30 seats each with aisles separating the two wings. Excellent sound and lighting. The second show was professionally taped and photographed. We arrived 20 minutes before the doors opened for each performance and had great... More

We've seen productions in all three of the Phoenix Theatre's spaces, from experimental bare-bones material by the Nearly Naked Theater company, to productions of Avenue Q, Pippin and Anything Goes. Most of the productions we have seen during our short time living fulltime in Phoenix have been Broadway calibre--and this reviewer is a former East Coaster with easy access to... More

The Phoenix Theatre is an extraordinary organization! With three stages, outstanding employees, and actors and directors second to none, you can't go wrong with a visit to the Phoenix Theatre! Their attention to detail is exceptional, and I have seldom been as impressed with any group that stages live theatre. I can't recommend this organization enough, and I'd suggest you'd... More

This is a showcase for new productions and very talented local performers. The high point of today was the Upside of Down. A remake of a 1913 novel Pollyanna. This performance was for the dialog and singing. Outstanding youthful voices!!

My wife and I attended the musical "Anything Goes" with music and lyrics by Cole Porter. If you haven't ever seen a musical with signing and dancing, then I encourage you to see this show. The actors are good, the story is funny, and the scenery is very good. It is a very upbeat performance with a happy ending. How... More

This recently remodeled venue with multiple theaters is a great location to see good productions. I recently saw "Mary Poppins" in the Mainstage theater and "Shear Madness" in the Hormel Black Box. The acting company is really good and so is the staging and set designs. I don't think there is a bad seat in the house. I liked it... More

Adjacent to Phoenix Museum and free parking. Recently remodeled, it offers an intimate and relaxing venue to see good productions. All seating are generally good. The prices for drinks and snacks is reasonable. The courtyard and indoor seating offer small conversation areas to converse and can be noisy and crowded during intermission. Be prepared for long lines for the women's... More

We have been season ticket holders for many years. We can pick and choose which shows we want to see (musicals) and the dates that we are available and with the Flex Pass we can get reduced prices on shows that were not on our original pass. The new building, theater seats, rest rooms, refreshment bars are excellent!

The show was great (even without the naked guy). I always enjoy a small theater production and this one didn't disappoint.

We went to see Shear Madness earlier this week and what a brilliant production. It was extremely funny and the cast put a huge amount into it making it such a wonderful show. It is easy to see why it is America's longest running play. The script can be tailored for local and national topical matters and there are innuendo's... More
