We have been to quite a few productions at Phoenix Theatre located at 3rd St & McDowell in Phoenix. They have a number of venues including the Main Stage and the Black Box Theater. Each year, they select about 6-8 plays for each stage which can be purchased individually or by subscription. The Main Stage is far larger with comfortable... More

We have been season ticket holders for over 12 years and enjoy most productions. Nice way to enjoy the theater without it being too pricey.

Phoenix will unfortunately not be a first run Theater Town, however this little theater which has been around for years and now remodeled shows well programmed and productions of utmost taste. The friendliness of the staff is exceptional , the being to pre-order for the intermissions is a delight. I have seen many productions here and have never ever been... More

Currently playing Les Mis. I've seen this production a dozen times and theirs is one of the best. Many superior voices in the cast plus seasoned performers. The theater is small so diction and voices are easy to hear and understand. Food and bev. available either there or at the adjacent Phoenix Art Museum. We walked for 10 minutes and... More

The new Phoenix Theater is an incredible new space. Seats are comfortable, the lobby is spacious, attractive and urban. It's a great place to see a show.

We saw the production of Pippin in March 2014. The theatre is an excellent performing arts centre and this production was top quality. Our family loved it.

My daughter and I went to see Pippin last week at Phoenix theater and it was done so well and so professionally that we got tickets for the next show, Avenue Q. Great wine bar with munchies so get there early.

We are so glad we looked into shows playing in Phoenix during our recent vacation. To find this gem of a theater was wonderful! The courtyard is lovely and the availability of food and drinks just adds to the experience. The grounds are very well maintained. The performance of Pippin was extraordinary. The interior of the theater is intimate, the... More

Saw the musical review Ain't Misbehaving. The performance was very good with excellent singers. The venue is small, we were 4 rows from the back, but we still had a great view and the sound system was extremely good. The theater has fairly comfortable seating but, wish the cup holders would have been placed differently kept banging my knees.
