My wife and I took a short vacation to Phoenix, our daughter recommended and scheduled a ride for us. We absolutely enjoyed every minute of the ride, and would love to go again next time we're in the Phoenix area. More

Tonight three of us took the Sunset Ride to the T-Bone Steak House and then back in the dark through the desert with the stars overhead. It was simply splendid. Great value for money, sure footed horses and very competent guides. An outstanding experience, a really beautiful way to appreciate the desert with greatr views of the Phoenix skyline. We'd... More

We did the T-Bone Ride (ride at sunset, dinner at T-Bone Steakhouse, ride back under the stars). Not exaggerating when I say this was one of the coolest experiences of my life. Riding up in the mountains on horseback, the gorgeous scenery and views of Phoenix both at sunset and in the dark, was just phenomenal. The only reason I... More

Called to schedule a private ride for 3 people on a Thursday morning two months in advance of the intended date. I had asked for a private ride to see the petroglyphs that they advertised for their Saturday ride. No indication that this would not be OK but they said they would need to be sure that one certain guide... More

I am an experienced rider and I took our visiting teenage nephew riding here, we had a good time. The horses were appropriate for inexperienced riders and the trail and scenery were very nice. Our guide was helpful and wanted everyone to have a good time and be safe. I would take inexperienced riders here again. I think they have... More

My children and I took a sunset horseback riding tour called "T-bone" with the Ponderosa stables. the tour was well organized and an awesome experience. The horses traveled through mountainous foothills and desert land for an hour and arrived at a very popular steak house that was isolated in these foothills. The steakhouse gave you an awesome view of the... More

My mom and I were in Phoenix to visit ASU, and decided that we wanted to go horseback riding. However, we were on a bit of a time constraint, so we wanted to stay near the city--Ponderosa Stables was perfect. It was a twenty minute drive from Tempe and, despite it's proximity, was very peaceful and suffciently "wild". Our hour... More

This is a wonderful easy slow trail ride with beautiful views of Phoenix. It is perfect for the non-horse people and kids. Not going to stimulate people looking to run a horse, just a different venue. Fun cowboy experience in the middle of a major city. More
