Grand Canyon Adventure, Series 3 Hummer Adventure Tour, Skywalk Departs: 6:30 AM Returns: 4:00 PM (approximate) Price: $259.00 This is the tour I took and while pricey it was entertaining, educational and comfortable. Our tour guide Scott picked us up from our hotels for an all day excursion. Dirt roads were no problem in a Hummer. and with 5 passengers... more

My simple, straightforward advice would be - Do not bother. This attraction feels like a big rip off. After driving 3 hours from Vegas to Kingman you head up to the canyon. The web site does not mention the 20+ miles of dirt track you have to negotiate to get to the Skywalk. This is a seriously bad track, it... more

Well if you must go, helicopter in, it will probabley prove cheaper in the end, its like a scene from a war zone, helicopters buzzing in and out, buses herding people from one point to another, marshals prodding you on, hidiously expensive and then the skywalk itself, its miniscule, no more than 30feet from the rim edge. Its dusty, crowded,... more

So I'm going to agree with most of the reviews here. Myself and 5 friends decided to hire a car to drive to the Grand Canyon from Las Vegas. We chose the west rim because it was closer. We had some idea that it was going to be expensive, so not a total surprise. But the road leading up to... more

My partner and I have just arrived back from our honeymoon, which encompassed many of America’s cities! For our stay in Las Vegas we decided to hire a convertible and drive to the skywalk stopping at Hoover dam and maximising the beautiful scenery as we go by. When we arrived at what looked like the entrance to a notorious Cuban... more

This was the biggest disappointment of our trip. You pay $75.00 to board a dirty bus to the "Skywalk". You can't take any photos, but they'll take them for you at $30.00 a pop. It's advertized as being "4000 feet above the canyon" when in fact it's only a few hundred feet to the ground below. If you want to... more

The Skywalk itself I enjoyed, but I do agree that the prices are way too expensive. I am writing this review to warn other drivers, especially RV drivers, of the terrible state the approach road is in. I cannot stress how bad this particular 14 mile stretch of road is! One of the previous reviewers who described it as driving... more

I can't believe I wasted an entire day to go see the world's largest hole in the ground. This was by far the worst experience of my entire 3 week vacation. To start, we were staying in Vegas at the MGM. We rented a car for 1 day (a convertible Mustang) just for this day trip, as this was my... more

I wouldn't say to avoid this, but you do need to know what you are getting in to. First off, this is a good two hour drive from Kingman, over some very dusty road. Expect long waits due to construction. Our first surprise was the price, the advertisements cards that we saw state that the cost is $29.95 to walk... more

We arrived at the skywalk around 5 pm and we just wanted to see the skywalk because of the time constraints. When you read the website it sounds like you take a shuttle bus for $15.00 that takes you to the skywalk for $33.00. However when you get there you have to take the bus tour for $38.00 then they... more
