It's a real total rip off!!! You have heard about the sky walk, and you wanted to go there for an experience BUT they make the legacy tour a MUST (even if you didn't want to go, you have to pay for it and it's $50 bugs) in order to go to the sky walk! ALSO, in order to walk... more

Save your time and money and go to the South Rim. This is a total rip off. By the time it's all said and done, you'll waste a full day and about $80.00 per person to walk on the Skywalk. No personal cameras, but they'll sell you a picture of yourself on the skywalk for $30.00. If you want all... more

My wife, son, our son's Caregiver and I went to Grand Canyon West in late April 2009. We read some of the horrible things people were saying about Grand Canyon West. And while it was a bit pricey (BUT SO IS EVERYTHING IN LAS VEGAS!!!) we were stunned and amazed at its beauty. The Hualapai people ARE making money -... more

Just about to have our promised pastry and coffe when we were rudely told to get on the bus as we were late. We were late!!!! not the company,... more

After reading various reviews about the West Rim we were skeptical at first, we had rented a car but really didn't want to take it down this road (14 miles unpaved) so after some research we realized there is a park and ride about 1 mile from Diamond Bar road. They charge you $10pp and require reservations which were no... more

Recently visited Vegas and decided to make a day trip to Grand Canyon with much debate over whether we should just drive 5 hours to the south rim, which is where 90% of people go, or the shorter drive to the privately owned west rim. I like to do a lot of research before going anywhere and was very put... more

I read all the negative reviews, and was very nervous about taking this trip. But we were only going to be in Vegas for 4 days, so I didn't want to waste 10 hours in the car to the South Rim. The drive to the Grand Canyon West was very scenic and easy, until the 14 miles of unpaved road.... more

I just got back from Las Vegas, and I am so glad I read these negative reviews prior to going to the Grand Canyon West and the Grand Canyon Skywalk. The Grand Canyon West and the Skywalk are a for profit enterprise that operates on the Hualapi Indian Reservation. It is a joint venture between David Jin, a Las Vegas... more

After reading a lot of negative reviews on here, we still decided to go. We did not want to take the time to see the South Rim since we were only staying 4 days. It was GREAT - worth the trip and the money. We went here on Monday, March 30, 2009 - group of 6: Husband and I (ages... more

I was totally scared to death! I knew that I would never forgive myself if I walked away without at least trying the Sky Walk. I am so glad I did it! Not sure I would do it again though! What a view! Totally different experience from the National Park tours. more
