We have stayed here a handful of times and it is one of our favorites to return to. Pros * Most RV spots are quite large and the most spacious we have stayed at. You don't really feel "on top" of your neighbors. Many have green belts on them as well. * The water and electric hook ups are great... More

Not a bad place to hang for the day or camp. The park has a store that will fulfill most needs and the beach is nice for kids.

We camped here for only 2 nights but thoroughly enjoyed the grounds which are located on the inside bend of the CO River -- simply beautiful, very clean, nice sized back-in space for the RV. Although our site #26 wasn't shaded, the spots across the way were, but we heard they book up a year or more in advance. WiFi... More

We stopped by to hike the trails and found the rangers very helpful. Mile markers on the trail signs would have been helpful. The hype about the view from Interruption Point was a little overboard. The area was fenced off and blocked some of the view, but I found more scenic spots along the trail. I had forgotten my hiking... More

My husband and I are staying in the RV park for a week; three nights so far. Some RV spots have full hookups and some have only electricity and water. The grounds are watered with a sprinkler system and feature green lawns and huge trees. The small camping spots near the river offer a great view, concrete ramada, picnic table... More

This State Park is located on one of the most beautiful stretches of the Colorado River below the Parker Dam. Sandy beaches traverse the park which is spotted with plenty of shade trees. There are plenty of activities available including volleyball, a playground and campfire. There are fees for day use and camping, but this is a beautiful location to... More

I traveled here in February. The weather was a mild 80 degrees during the day and high 50's at night. The river was beautiful and beaches clean. The park was maintained well, however I didn't visit the rest rooms or showers as I was in a fifth wheel. The park is dated a little and the facilities could use a... More

We love to come into the Buckskin arcade and get food and ice cream for the kids. But my goodness do you think you could sink a few bucks into the arcade? Would it kill you to update the place a little? 90% of the games don't even work and i'm not making that up. It's ridiculous. Pizza is pretty... More

What an awesome state park! The Colorado River is on three sides and you have lots of trees as well. This is a pretty spacious park and the staff is friendly. Pretty level sites as well.

This was incredible! When I started out I wasn't sure where I was going and sort of arrived here. The first thing that struck me was the natural and austere beauty of Sonoran Desert. The Colorado River offers a stark contrast to the desert. The park offers something for everyone. There is boating, camping, beaches and hiking. I chose to... More
