Just read the naysayers reviews here and I don't get at all what they're talking about. The Desert Bar is a superfun place...in the middle of the desert...that requires taking 5 miles of unpaved road to get to. It's old and rustic and full of character. And it's only open on weekends. If you don't know all of that before... More

This is a rocky, unpaved trip just over 5 miles into the desert NE (?) of Parker, AZ. It's not a difficult trip though, just plan to travel slowly. Once there, it is an oasis. The decor is quirky and original. The beer is cold. The food a little spendy but if you stick to the burgers it hurts a... More

We had heard about this place from family who winter in Lake Havasu. We decided to check it out on a recent trip to Lake Havasu City, and we were glad we did. It is seriously about 5 miles into the desert after driving on a rough and rocky desert road. If you have a nice car you care about,... More

The food is terrible and overpriced. The atmosphere is fun. Neat bathrooms and decor through out. Drove from Lake Havasu City -- didn't find it worth the 1 hour drive, especially with a 2- and 4-year-old. Children are welcome but I wouldn't recommend it.

This is a great place! The scenery and the views are awesome. So much character in this bar. Loved the outdoor aspect. Enjoyed the food. Enjoyed the band. Enjoyed watching how much everyone else (all ages) enjoyed themselves. I would love to go back and would definitely recommend to others.

Take your side by side and ride in the back way. Have a great lunch and ride around the beautiful desert. What a cool place

Pleasant atmosphere good comrade ride although it is quite a trek out to the saloon. Enjoyed the food, music, and view.

Friends we came to visit took us here for a second time this Spring and the atmosphere is so fun. Way back in the desert (4 miles) but takes you way back in time.

Staying in Lake Havasu and decided to take a day trip into the desert. We heard fun things about the Desert Bar so we drove for about 1 hour on hiway and rocky dirt road and got there just before it opened. Parking lot was already full and we were lucky to find a table for 4 w/shade. Getting a... More

When Staying in Lake Havasu Arizona, some Friends of ours told us about the Desert Bar. We golf in the morning at Emerald Canyon which was very close, so we figured we would give it a try. The bar is only open Saturdays and Sundays from Noon until 6:00 from October thru April. It was about a 5 mile drive... More
