Best bar in or near Parker hands down. Open only from October to May. Live bands, cheap drinks and average food ...although food downstairs is way over priced and to be clear food place is not run by the bar owner, he rents the space. Can't beat this one of a kind...completely solar powered place. A must see and many... More

my son took me to the Desert Bar, it's amazing. Definitely what the old west was. Every direction has something to see, old time vehicles, buildings, mountains. Ladies bathroom is a real kick... Don't miss visiting...

Eat my dust indeed! I recently wrote this to a dear friend. "So you are going to Laughlin. Yippee! There is a place called the Desert Bar outside of Parker that is a must. It is only open on Saturday and Sunday from noon to 6 and closes at the end of April. It's 5 miles on a dirt road... More

This place was amazing! Beautiful setting. There was a good band playing when we went out there. Good beer and good food. The road was treacherous - will ride a dirt bike out there next time.

Make sure you have the appropriate vehicle to travel on this road. Get there at a decent time if you want to park, parking is limited. All in all, a nice place to say you have been there. Heard the food is good and considering the line, it must have been, but didn't have the patience to wait, it was... More

If you are in Parker, AZ then you must take a day trip to the Desert Bar. Get off AZ 95 on Cienega Springs Rd dirt road accessible by most cars. We went when a band was playing that was fantastic, The Sidewynders with a young lady who should be on tour. They played a variety of songs but she... More

I would have given this a five, but on many weekends, the road in, while completely driveable, is quite crazy with the amount of vehicles, the speeds driven - especially around corners, and long waits for food and beverages. BUT, once at table with said food and beverages, it is quite a treat to be able to enjoy both in... More

We always visit this site which is five miles in the desert outside of Parker Arizona. The experience alone is worth it. The drive is a little dusty and can get quite busy on Sundays, but they have food, drinks and a live band on some weekends. The kids like climbing the rocks around the desert area of the bar...
