This is for town not stables. This is a cool old town to visit with the burros roaming the streets. I go every time I am in the area.

This is a review on the town of Oatman. I am not sure what I was expecting but I was a bit disappointing. The burrows walking the streets was the best part. The museum was closed due to the light drizzle? and the stores all seemed to have the same stuff mainly Route 66 and Harley junk. I guess I...

When we arrived at the stables for our reservation our guide/ owner was 45 min. late. Finally he saddled up our horses and he sent the four of us on our way with a different guide for a two hour ride, twenty minutes into the ride the my saddle came loose and it began to slide to the side. I...

Really a neat drive, esp if you take the old route 66 via the winding thin road through the mountains! so scarey!
The town has burrows wandering, left by thw miners years ago. Feed is $1 or you can bring carrots. Some are pretty pushy once they see food or especially carrots. The babies have signs on their heads not...

It was a fun, little outting for an hour. Horseback riding would have been much better than just watching the western show in the town. Next time I'm in the area, I'll go riding!

Oatman is a fun place to visit. We took Route 66 from the south to get there. Original road! We were pulling a 25 ft. trailer. So really had to go slow. Good road. There is a place to park at the beginning of town for tour buses and cars. A short walk into town. The donkeys are so friendly....

Super fun day trip where visitors can feed and pet the burros up close. Be sure to take along a bag of fresh carrots to share with the animals. The drive through the tiny town is free and the shops are worth visiting. Be sure to bring water bottles, and stop for ice cream in the old hotel.
