We only went to the falls lookout - I think to get closer would be a whole days hike type of adventure. But it was one of the most beautiful sites. You could see down into the valley where the water continued to flow and fall along the floor. We could also hear the distant thundering of the falls. All... More

Unfortunately you can't get this waterfall easily - that would be a great thing to do! All you can do is stand from the road to get a good view of it. Stunning, but I was a bit disappointed as I really wanted to go swimming in it. :)

Quite a tall waterfall. There wasn't much water going over when we were there, but it was an interesting sight to see.

Even on a wet and overcast day - the view is stunning. Fab views and if you linger a while, spot the bird-life as well!

Quite spectacular with down to earth coconut husking and tasting. Easy short access from car park with umbrellas provided if necessary

If you have a good taxi driver it's worth a stop at the Papapapaitai Falls. If it's misty avoid going down to the pool at the bottom. Make sure you have your camera to take some photos of spectacular scenery. Car park was untidy.

I was fortunate to have a taxi driver who took me to see the Papapapaitai water fall on the way back to my accommodation. The water fall is surrounded by dense tropical bush and was a little difficult to see. While beautiful, as water falls are, I would not put it at the top of my list of things to... More

Unfortunately there was a lot of mist around when we visited but could imagine how good it would look at another time. A get out of the bus and have a look moment- definitely not a "lets walk down"!

A must see spot on the Island with brilliant views to the waterfall, unfortunately, we didn't have the time to climb down to the pool at the bottom for a shower ;)

Loved the fact that it was an easily identifiable attraction. Just off the main road, and quite an awesome view especially when the mist clears. Only downside was that there was a bit of rubbish around in the carpark, but other than that it was a great, free attraction to quickly stop at and take some classic tourist snaps.
