With fantastic views and extraordinary nature in and near, the Beagle Channel is an amazing area to visit. This is a place you have to go to.

The boat trip is a must for all visitors. Enjoyed seeing all the cormorants and sea lions at first, and standing out on the deck with the wind in my hair. Then there were more sea lions and cormorants with a slightly different colouring. Then it rained, so we sat inside and watched Ushuaia loom back into view. I would... More

Definetly worth it to get a boat ride to see the Beagle Channel. It can be rather windy, but the landscape is just amazing and there are several small island along its way containing different animals

We passed through this area on a cruise ship. The scenery here was just beautiful! The weather was interesting. Beautiful and sunny, then snowing and hailing. Beautiful glaciers. Worth getting up early to see if that's when you're cruising through.

The Beagle Channel can be lovely and it is worthwhile taking a tour if you are in Ushuaia. Most of the folks who go on a trip to Antarctica are treated to a before and after tour of it, so it is one thing you won't miss coming back to!

The view is stunning, worth some kind of boat trip on a sunny day. Sailed on a ship heading to Antarctica and there is a thrill sailing past the most southern point of South America.

We had an evening boat trip and it was fabulous. The clouds were well above the mountains and we could see for mile. We even got off the boat and had a walk on one of the islands. Incredibly knowledeable guide. We were the only two english speakers on board and she took lots of time with us. Impressive. The... More

This is the tricky channel leading in and out of Ushuaia, Argentina southward. The topography along side of the channel reminds one of similar topography elsewhere in the world, closer to home. It appeared uninhibited, with beautiful mountains in the background. It is peaceful place, as one cruises by on a cruise ship.

I loved the scenery, penguins, sea lions and cormorants. Not like the impact of the invasion of large numbers of tourists visiting the population of penguins on the island where they raise their young. Invasion of huge catamarans who come to touch the banks, and during the ride called Walk pingüinera, which allows the landing and the approach too much.
