Frontier between Argentina and Chile , of course . On the area of Ushuaia , this Chanel vastens its widness into a sall sea, as the winds we´ve met yesterday agitated its waters into surprisingly relevant and consecutive waves . Something I didn´t expect in the consistent way it did !

We did the Channel via the Celebrity Cruise Lines. Stopped in Ushuhia AR and went to Penguin Island, A must do. Best time to go is late January. Dress warm even in summer, 30's to 50's F. Lots of wind & rain.

If you are in Ushuaia for any length of time you can book yourself a day trip on a well equipped day cruiser to journey the length of this historic channel and spend an hour or two at Harburton, the early English settlement or estancia. Leaving Ushuaia's busy harbour you pass close ro Antarctic cruise ships and the many yachts... More

Great way to see sea lions and the birds from the Tierra del Fuego. If you come to Ushuaia this excursion is a Must. There is also a stop on the way to be able to see local plants and nature.

If you're traveling to Argentina, the Beagle Channel is a must see. It's unbelievably beautiful and tranquil -- the terrain is like no other I've seen. Of course, make sure you go during the summer b/c it is outrageously cold - the island is windy and much colder than the mainland.

We made a nice boat trip around the Beagle Channel. The nature is exuberant, the mountains and the little rock island are just perfect!!! its a must do in Ushuaia.

Should you ever have the opportunity to cruise down in this part of the world, don't, I repeat don't second guess yourself. Weather permitting this is hands down the most beautiful part of the colder part of the world. The wild life is abundant and the scenery is spectacular! Should you want a very relaxing trip, book a cruise to... More

Ushuaia is among the most beautiful land I have ever seen and when seen from the sea it's just wonderful! The cruise along the Beagle channel, through islands, sea life, light-house and the mountains in the back ground worth every single second, dollar and frostbite. The boat was very comfortable, with a cafeteria within, nice staff and a splendid view... More
