If you start the walk from the campground, then you have a nice hike towards the glacier. Its a well marked trail with big yellow arrows. The glacier it self is kinde dissapointing, because he is retracted quit a lot. The view towards the bay and the city is well worth it. More

If you're in the area and have extra time, go up and experience it, but you can't actually go up onto this glacier, and it's white... unlike the amazing large blue Perito Moreno! Definitely doesn't compare, but again, if you have the time, why not see this as well? More

The walk is good, very easy, and the view from the glaciar is specially beautiful, because you can see all the Beagle Channel... The bad thing: it's ALWAYS full of tourists. Take taxi to the parking area (guidebooks say you can walk, but it's a long way uphill). The chairlift cost 50 pesos in January 2012, or you can climb. There is stil plenty of ascent from the top of the chairlift. Great views! The restaurant on the right at the bottom of the chair lift is very good. More
