Ushuaia is the most southernmost city in the world. That's why it earned the nickname "End of the World". This place has a subpolar oceanic climate. That means on average the city experiences 146 days of precipitation a year , with many cloudy and foggy days. Averaging 206 cloudy days a year, only 13 days sunny, but the winter is... More

The tourist information is sited directly outside the port and is frequented by cruise ship passengers. The centre gives out free town maps and information.

The Tourist information center I visited was right in front of Puerto Ushuaia. It was very nicely furnished and inviting. I was very glad that the lady at the front desk spoke fluent English since my Spanish was very poor. She provided all the information I needed about the museums, restaurants I had planned to eat in, tourist attractions etc.... More

Kind and prestative people. Willing to help in at least three different languages (portuguese, spanish and english) as much as I have heard when were there. It is also the place to get four different stamps to your passport. Just in front of Port. if you need help, this is the place.

Came here twice and both times the place was very busy, but we were seen promptly. Saw different people & both spoke English well. All the information provided was correct and extremely helpful. We also had our passports stamped!

Compliments go to the tourist information centre. I made 4 trips to the tourist information centre and attended by almost all the staff there. I was rendered great help by these staff who patiently advised me on my options to travel out Ushuaia in this lull season. Thanks again...

We visited this place twice today. The ladies are super kind and attentive. Whatever you ask they kindly explain to you giving all the important information. They stamp your passport - a staff said this office is famous for it but they also stamp your postcards. The postcards can be sent via argentine national mail but DHL might be safer... More

Would you like to have stamps on your passport saying "Ushuaia Fin del Mundo" without need to go to Bahia Lapataia (25km inside Tierra del Fuego National Park which ticket costs $85 pesos)? This is the place. There are other stamps too, such as pinguins of Megallanes, county flags and symbols, etc. They will provide you all information and support... More

Staff is used to dealing with tourists and giving a quick overview about what-to-do in and around Ushuaia. They had copies of maps for the activities and were very helpful overall.

Right on the front organised, and helpful. No language barrier either. They have the maps and can give you unbiased advice.
