The place offers good day hikes. You can do one-two hikes for a full day of out door activities. The park is like 12 miles from city so you would need to grab a shuttle which costs around 200A$ to get there and back. The hike around the coast and the views of the bay are pretty good. As is... We enjoyed a one day trip to that National Park and can recommend it to everyone. The easiest to have a car, many seem to do it by taxi however

Unfortunately the day we visited the park was a rainy, dreary day. We made the most of it anyway, stopping at the scenic lookouts and taking a few short trails. Enjoyed the museum in the park and the nice souvenir shop. Would like to go back on a sunny day!

With a day to spare due to a mechanical problem that delayed our departure of our ship for our Antarctica adventure, we were offered a day excursion to Tierra del Fuego National Park which was a very interesting experience. Among the various places we stopped at was the end of the Pan America Highway..a 17848km roadway from Alaska to the... More

The hike of Cerro Guanaco was as hard as any day of hiking I did during four weeks in Patagonia, and it offered amazing views. The rest of the park, however, really isn't anything special. The Costal Trail (Senda Costal) is a nice relaxing hike, but it's not worth the price of admission. If you can work the timing, do... More

We took this attraction with the train option included (half day). It is a good opportunity to see the natural forest of the isle. The train gives you information of the historical use of the train by the time the “Presidio de Ushuaia” (penal complex) were active.

We had this as an add on to a cruise of the Beagle Channel. We got in a bus and all the guide talked about was how the introduction of beavers to Tierra Del Fuego was destroying the habitat. We made two stops. One was at a shop and restaurant. It was a nice place but I didn't come to... More

Take this tour of Tierra del Fuego - you will be glad that you did -- Not necessary to take El Tren del Fin del Mundo - but enjoy the chance to see more of the park. We took a tour with a local travel agency and enjoyed the beauty of this national park - Our guide spoke English well... More

We went there from Ushuaia by Tren del Fin del Mundo and then travelled through the Parc by bus stopping a Lago Roca for a short walk along the shores to the Campsite, which has a small cafe with a very good hot chocolate, and Bahía Lapataia at the end of Ruta Nacional 3, at the same time the unofficial...
