We decided not to take a giant catamaran and really experience the Beagle Channel so we booked with Tres Marias and took a sailboat (maximum of 8 people so book early!) We got really close to the island with the cormorants/sea lions and then docked on H island where the Yamana Indians used to live and hiked there for an... More

I was lucky, small group of 5, great weather & a very knowledgable guide (Mario). Looking at the other ships in the harbour as we bOarded the boat, i knew i had made the right choice with a small intimate tour group. H Island is great, and you get to see everything they advertise purely because the group is small... More

Sailing on the Beagle Channel was the great appeal of this attraction. The problem is that after 30 uneventful minutes the sails were rolled down and all the rest of the trip was on motor. If I knew that beforehand I could have saved the extra 50 pesos they charge for the sailboat. The guide was great, the H island... More

Very good trip! Small groups and guides that care and give verz good insight! Very knowledgable tour, dedicated staff and best tour if you want to know more about wildlife and the area, plus see sealions and cormorants upclose. More

This trip was a great excursion, and I can truly recommend it. It is a family owned business, and the entire family was awesome. The son lead our tour, and he was very informative. Our boat went right up to a couple islands, and I got great photos of many of the wildlife inhabitants. We also went to Island H,... More

My friend and I took this tour on the sailing boat "IF". The day we went the weather was sunny and warm. Tres Marias has exclusive rights to the eco sensitive H Island. Our guide was very knowledgeable and was truly a protector of that island. We had a small group of only 6 others so one could easily ask... More

I was in Ushuaia some days ago and me and my friend decided to took an excursion with "las tres Marias"...and it did NOT deceive us at all! We took a 4 hours excursion with a very small but cozy boat (named tres marias) and Pablo and Mariano -the tour guides/sailors- showed us the beautiful nature that island H offers.... More

Our trip with Tres Marías on the Beagle Canal was excellent. The sales staff a the booth are friendly enough but the boat crew was really endearing! I loved to see the sea lions from up close and I enjoyed the walk on Isla H. I also enjoyed the fact that the boat only has space for 10 passengers tops... More

My husband and I went on the little Tres Marias boat and really enjoyed the tour. The guide spoke good English and explained a lot of stuff as we went along. We enjoyed going to H island and walking around. Tips - it got VERY cold the the boat ride back, we were wishing we had our thermals on. Also,... More
