We stopped here on the way to the Penguin tour with Pira tours. Even though it's nothing compared to the penguins it was a very pretty farm property with gardens, and really friendly farm dogs. We took tour by Piratour. Visiting small museum at Estancia Harberton first then Isla Martillo, penguin island. Introduction at the museum on the penguin and sea mammal was very interesting. I can distinguish seal and sea lion now. At Martillo island, you can really close to penguin. More

Very enthusiastic staff who will give a good overview of the activities they follow to create the skeleton's of whales and seals. Museum takes about an hour. Only worth doing if part of another tour. More

When we added the Harberton Ranch to our Beagle Channel excursion we didn't expect a real treat. Walking in the middle of a penguin colony is a great experience, especially if you have children. The drive to the estancia is pretty nice too. Did not really visit the museum as the penguins were the reason we visited. More
