Neat to see but...

It's not as good as volunteer point at Falkland Islands. I would have more impressed had I not seen Stanley first. There are a lot of birds here though.

No words express viewing these tuxedo covered birds that are exquisitely fun, entertaining and beautuful. A site never to be forgotten and nature at its finest.

The island is full of mainly black and white cormorants. You can get close up by boat. You can see several bird's nests in December. Not sure about the rest of the year. They look like penguins from far away. BUT these cormorants can fly!

Sailing through the Beagle Channel takes you to see this island in which you can see the birds from the boat and nothing more.

Ushuaia is a little city with no real appeal. It's shown what they have (not much) and one of these things is this little island in the bay called Isla de Los Pajaros. You cath a boat which will take you around in the bay with a stop at this little island where hundreds of Pajaros fly around. Then the... More

There were lots of cormorants and few other birds. No penguins were found there. Okay, I admit, I'm not a "bird" person. Someone who is and wants to see cormorants would probably enjoy this.

As we cruised the Beagle Channel we approached this island covered with cormorants. These birds will fool you as they look like penguins from a distance. But look down at their orange feet and you will see they are not. They are quite large when they spread their wings.

This island has a lot of birds that "wants to be penguins". They look like pengus, act as pengus but are not pengus. They fly and they are not cute as pengus. Is a must seen.
