When arriving on an early flight, or leaving on a late one, you might not have enough time to do a whole day tour. That's when you want to go to Cerro Frias. It's a 3 hour tour with different options : trekking, 4 by 4, horseback ridding and zip line. I did the zip line, and the activity in... More

Did a short afternoon trek with this operator. The company owns and farms the estacion and also provides a range of activities - horse riding, zip wire and trekking The walk was fairly steep but the views from the top were worth the sweat and toil Our guide was Nicole who was lovely however the business seemed to be a... A fabulous hike, guanacos, foxes, hares, condors, and the Patagonian wind to blow us right off the peak.

We took the 4x4 drive on the mountain Cerro Frias. It was a very nice experience with magnificent views and we saw a lot of guanacos.

Our family did the zip line and it was so much fun! Originally we were scheduled for the 4x4 but the zip line was available and they allowed us to change at the last minute. It was so great and Anna was great with our kids, making them feel comfortable and excited. It was an awesome time! Lunch afterward was... More

We were offered two different horseback riding excursions from our tour company when we arrived and we are sure happy we choose the half day ride at Cerro Frias. The company came to pick us up at the hotel and brought us to the ranch about 15 minutes west of Calafate. The driver was super nice and informed. When we... More

Recently had a group event here. Zip line, horseback riding, 4x4 tour, great meal, wine and service. We all loved it. Great friendly service and staff. I recommend it especially for groups.

I chose the horseback riding excursion for the authentic gaucho experience. Our group was only 3 people which enabled our guide Gabriel to be very attentive and take a lot of photographs us. Horses were well behaved, we rode for about 1 1/2 - 2 hours and enjoyed the mountain views. The Estancia itself was very nice and relaxing. Enjoyed... More

I did the horse riding tour and the next day I booked the ZIP line tour, but the weather wasn't that good at this time (rain) so it was canceled for safety reasons and I die the 4x4 Tour instead with fantastic views from the mountain on the lake Argentino. At the end the weather turned and Tito, the manager... More
