The Cathedral seats on one of the main roads by the lake. Regardless of being built during WWII is still shows some unfinished touches in the interior. Nonetheless it is quite beautiful with its decorations and large glass doors. It's a good photo op with the lake as a background. Interestingly enough, TripAdvisor has another page for this church under:... More

The building is nice with rock walls, it has a majestic feeling to it and unique beauty. It very much is a mountain church.

This is a relatively new church, with no particularly distinctive architecture or art (there are some interesting stained glass windows showing native people slaughtering Christian missionaries!). But it seemed to me harmonious, and oddly but movingly spiritual. Well worth a visit.

Lovely windows, great ambiance, and a peaceful place to visit. There are nice lawns surrounding the church where people just come to meet and sit and socialise.

Attended whilst service was in progress. What can I say it was absolutely lovely. There is something special about churches in South America. The people love their religion and behave accordingly. This is transferred to the places of worship and you feel it

The church is nice to see, nothing too special. As the whole town of Bariloche is not too special, it's full of tourist traps and students... I would not visit there again. Best option is to drive through with a car and enjoy the nature which is really much more appealing and rewarding.

It is a very nice place with a rare architecture, different from the rest of Argentina, and beautiful vitros.

Although built during the Second World War, this church looks totally conventional from the outside. Inside it is unusual because its walls are a mixture of rough concrete (some reinforcement bars still visible) and irregular chunks of natural stone. The stained glass is decorative, with a number of windows featuring missionaries preaching to indigenous people. Alas, the only postcard available... More

This church is not as old as many European churches, but has the same sort of feel and architecture. I found the stained glass windows particularly interesting, as they depicted scenes from the Spanish colonial era, featuring Spanish colonists and the native inhabitants. Well worth a look.
