It's not a bad place to ski. Snow at the top fourth of the mountain was very good. As you get closer to the bottom, really no cover at all. If the snow is good, could be a fabulous place. Spent few days there this August with my son. I was told that the snow this season was above average,... More

Left the North American summer for South American winter snows -- took teenagers snow boarding, while we skied. We are life-long devotees of the Rocky Mountain slopes. With our favorite being Big Sky, Montana - while Patagonia doesn't have the same fluffy powder, the snow was good and Catedral was remarkably similar with it's wide slopes, numerous runs, and well-run... Love coming here during our summer to ski in their winter. The people are great. the food is wonderful. This year we were able to ski all the way down to the base. The views while skiing are not found anywhere else in the world. With the current exchange rate against the dollar it is relatively inexpensive. Bring dollars, do... More

Not a really big ski area compared to what you find in other countries. Lift Lines very disorganized. Good if you want to try skiing in South America, but not much more. Not much grooming of slopes happens there.

Argentinian friends of ours took us skiing at Base Cerro Catedral. They live in Bariloche. The whole experience was incredible, from the cable car going up the mountain to the stunning views of the surrounding snowcapped mountains. One of the worlds most beautiful places. Beauty in every direction one looks. Felt privileged to be able to visit this Ski Resort... More

Great day boarding here with a nice dusting of pow and blue skies to really make the day. Nice open and wide terrain with lots of varying skill levels. One down side was the chairs lifts. Most only take two people and are slow which is fine but the lines... My goodness, people are rude, push, ride over your board,... More

I love everything about argentina and cerro cathedral is no exception. I'm not an experienced skiier but I enjoyed el cerro both in summer and in winter. The slopes were good when I visited. being from the northern hemisphere it's interesting to be skiing in July...pretty cool imo
