We visited Cerro Catedral on a hot January day. Taking the gondola and chairlift to the top turned out to be the perfect way to beat the heat. The wind was calm but steady and several degrees cooler as you ascend. The views are outstanding on a clear day. Hiking from the top of the chairlift took us 20 minutes... More

It is a huge sky complex that you can enjoy the whole stay in Bariloche. Good infrastructure including clases for who can't sky, equipment rental and restaurants.

We went there from Cerro Otto so did not go to the top. It was interesting to see a ski village which operates year round. There were many mountain bikers and shops for everything. Sorry we did not go to the top.

We paid 530 Argentine Pesos for two of us to ride up the gondola and chair lift to the top of the mountain. This was in November, so the ski hill was closed but we just wanted to get up and enjoy the views while hiking a bit. Obviously this is only a worthwhile activity for sunny days so we... More

Close to Bariloche city, wonderful sights of the nearby region. Full of snow almost year round. Ideal for a fun visit

The telecabina was slow but I didn't want fast. La Roca has wonderful chocolate Caliente. The aerosilla was slower but I felt like I was flying (well, soaring). It was so quiet and there were not many people. To go without being a skier, at this time of year, is great. Views from the end of both rides are amazing.

The mountain was ok. The lifts are probably the slowest I have ever sat. The quality and the state of the infrastructure needs a big investment. Otherwise I was happy to snowboard in September.

They do not have snow machines. Most lifts don't have covers, so if it snows you end up soaking wet.A snowboarder took me out, and within seconds a medical person was next to me - which was impressive. She was most kind, helpful and professional. Very few people speak English - a big negative if you ask for help in... More

We skied in August and although it was warm at base with no snow the upper mountain still had fantastic conditions. We were lucky to have snowfall on our second night so had 2 beautiful sunny days skiing in fresh powder. Friendly resort.

The ski resort is nice but... In september anyway, you can only go on the higher slopes because the lower ones are already full of rocks and dirt. And we had this experience even though the first night we had heavy snow fall of almost 1 m. The first day we could come down on the slopes but even then... More
