I love everything about argentina and cerro cathedral is no exception. I'm not an experienced skiier but I enjoyed el cerro both in summer and in winter. The slopes were good when I visited. being from the northern hemisphere it's interesting to be skiing in July...pretty cool imo

Just spent a fantastic week skiing with my family! The mountain is huge, and even tough there was a lot of people (high season), it never felt crowded, we got in all lifts very fast, and the lanes were all "empty". What impressed me more was how helpful and careful everyone was at the lifts, congratulations to all of them!... More

Skiing here is not a beginner's undertaking. Grooming is minimal and even as an experienced skier, I had some challenges. Where the piste was groomed it was almost a traffic jam. The snow offpiste was heavier that what I am used to and together with the churned up snow it was not easy. Good workout, though. Transportation from Bariloche is... More

We lost two days of skiing due to adverse weather conditions. A US resort would have snow making capability that would've allowed the resort to open th bottom half of the mountain when high winds caused the upper lifts to close. Also, the road to the resort was treacherous and sometimes closed due to NO sanding/salting. The lifts are all... More

I dont do ski, so the purpose of my climb to Cerro Catedral was to enjoy the amazing views of the Cerro itself, the lakes and all what your eyes can see in the horizon. I went to the top by taking the Princesa aerosillas and I dont regret paying for it.

I went fairly early in the season (July 3-10), and while it snowed two weeks before I arrived and everyday while I was there, there was never enough snow to make skiing worthwhile. I still decided to take my 4 year old daughter up the lifts to play around in the snow. The lines for buying tickets are problematic. Tickets... More

We went to Bariloche with family and friends for a week. The main idea for the trip was skiing but it was very disappointed. The weather was horrible and the amount of snow was very poor. Of course that's just but luck! The thing is that they opened anyway and charge the full price for the passes! Only one small... More

Besides the lack of snow in the day I visited it, it was great, the view is gorgeous since the ascent to the top, even with very little snow there were some play areas for the kids and the restaurant has and surprisingly good food. Totally recommended.
