The first one, the "Road to the Clouds" following the famous railway track of the "Train to the Clouds" through the "Quebrada del Toro" (Bull's Gorge) up to San Antonio de los Cobres. The second one goes through the Puna, along Route 40, up to "Salinas Grandes" (Salt Lakes) just between the border of Salta & Jujuy. We had an amazing experience on the 2 day tour to to the salt flats with an overnight stay at Purmamarca and then a full day tour through the Humahuaca gorge. On the first day the bus / truck was very comfortable and the guide (Julio) and driver (Mauricio) very both very good. Julio gave an in depth description of... More

We did the Safari to the Clouds yesterday (23rd January 2015) We booked with Movitrak as an alternative to the Tren A Las Nubes, as this is currently not running, in a way we think this excursion suited us even better..... We first did the necessary transactions by email while still in the UK, and paid by bank transfer On... More

We booked a 2 day trip with Movitrack and had 2 really different experiences. The trip we booked was the combination of safari to the clouds on day one, sleeping in Purmamarca, and the trip Quebrada de Humahuaca on day two. In advance, we asked to the company if there were English speaking guides available, as our Spanish is basic... More

I'm a pretty harsh critic when I travel, as one can see if they read my other TripAdvisor reviews. But, I am just as quick to give positive feedback as I am negative. I used Movitrack to take a 14 hour excursion to the "Train to the Clouds" excursion that went to Humamarca, the Salinas (salt flat) and San Antonio... More

I had originally booked for Tren a Las Nubes. As you may know, the train derailled on July 19 and I had to make new arrangements. Movitrack seemed very interesting so I booked for the Safari to the Cloud. Considering the day we had with Movitrack, I think that this unexpected turn of event was for the best. First of... More

Fantastic trip on the truck to the clouds! The truck has an open roof which means you can 'hang out' as much as you want during the trip. They even provided a poncho because it does get cold at high altitude! The guide was great providing his commentary both in Spanish and English. There were some snacks and drinks provided.... More

That a safari track that takes you to the most amazing places and views in a five star way . The seats are very comfortable and they provide meals and beverages in abundance . It's the best way to make the Train of the Clouds course and the trip to Puna and the Salinas . Really amazing !

I loved the trip, it takes you places normal cars/vans don't. It is a fun non-conventional way to get to know the sights. The guides were very good and friendly, however I had two issues: first, I asked via email and in person to the travel agency that I was a vegetarian, and when lunch was served, I didn't have... I really wanted to see the salt flats, and there are any number of companies offering tours to the salt flats in mini vans or other vehicles. I was recommended movitrack, and I can say that going by movitrack is definitely the best option. For a number of reasons - the big truck they've refitted is made to help you... More

We made a ride back from the Train a las Nubes, with movitrack, wich I really recommend because going back with the train takes too long, and with Movitrack you go faster, and can see other things. Our guide Ramiro and our driver Roberto were both very very nice and attentive! Besides that on the end of our trip we... More
