The first one, the "Road to the Clouds" following the famous railway track of the "Train to the Clouds" through the "Quebrada del Toro" (Bull's Gorge) up to San Antonio de los Cobres. The second one goes through the Puna, along Route 40, up to "Salinas Grandes" (Salt Lakes) just between the border of Salta & Jujuy. And the third one, the downhill trip of Lipan to the picturesque village of Purmamarca, at the base of the well known "Mount of the Seven Colors". The circuit ends in Salta. « less

I really wanted to see the salt flats, and there are any number of companies offering tours to the salt flats in mini vans or other vehicles. I was recommended movitrack, and I can say that going by movitrack is definitely the best option. For a number of reasons - the big truck they've refitted is made to help you... More

We made a ride back from the Train a las Nubes, with movitrack, wich I really recommend because going back with the train takes too long, and with Movitrack you go faster, and can see other things. Our guide Ramiro and our driver Roberto were both very very nice and attentive! Besides that on the end of our trip we... More

We took the safari to the clouds leaving from Salta in a one day trip. We saw Inca-remains in Santa Rosas de Tastil, stopped to admire insane landscapes, and had lunch on a salt plain. The guides are very good and speak near perfect English. We got good food and a glass of the incredible and local wine towards the... More

Traveling through the NorthWest of Argentina with the MoviTrack is quite an adventurous and daring experience! The trucks leave at 6 am from Downtown Salta and take the rugged Andean roads through the most picturesque and surreal landscapes of these majestic mountains. The route follows the "Tren de las Nubes" for a bit. The service is attentive and special, the... More

Given my lack of time in Salta, I had to make a choice to do this or do Train to the Clouds. I chose this one, and do not regret doing so (although I still want to go on the train sometime in the future). It's a long day, but you see lots of beautiful/surreal landscapes including a lot of... More

We joined "Safari a las Nubes" on the special truck, as well as other minibus trips by the same company (Tastil). The Movitrack experience is unique and is a nice change from the regular minibus tours, which we also took. The simple meals in the middle of nowhere are a nice change to the normal restaurant experience a tourist has,... More

I joined the "Safari a las Nubes" and found it an excellent experience. It's a very long day trip including a lot of driving, but the purposebuilt vehicle was both comfortable and you could open the roof enabling you to take photos while on route. The guide and the service (breakfast, snacks and lunch) was excellent. This trip is about... More

Last year we had taken the train to the clouds and wanted to see more of the scenery and to go to the Salinas Grandes.

This was the most fantastic day. We had been on the Tren a las Nubes the day before which covered the first part of the Movitrack journey . That was a great if not a long journey but if you can only do one, do Movitrack, There is nothing like being able to pop your head up through the roof... More
