If you are thinking you might want to sit inside/outside/ top or bottom purchase the premium ticket for $25 instead of $20 and arrive early. Any seat was a good seat. Captain Tom provides an informative narration, answers any questions and has music themed to the topic at hand. We did see a bald eagle, a great blue heron and... More

When you see Saguaro Lake while waiting to board the Desert Belle, you think, how is this ride going to last even 30 minutes, let alone 2 hours! Well, this lake is huge and the narration is very nice; factual with some humor, but not corny. The mountain formations are awesome and I took so many photos I thought I... More

My husband, daughter and I took the 12.30pm cruise one Friday afternoon and throughly enjoyed it. The cruise lasts about 90mins and is very enjoyable. Captain Tom did the narration and was very knowledgable about the area. Particular highlights were the views of the 4 peaks mountain and the saguaro cacti. All in all thoroughly enjoyable and worth the $20/... More

Great little 1.5 hour tour of Saguaro Lake. Definitely worth $20. We did the 2:45 tour on 4/7/15. The boat captain very pleasant and knowledgeable about the area. He pointed out some interesting stuff. A little disappointed that we didn't see any eagles, sheep or deer though.

We went awhile ago, near the end of last summer. We had a Groupon for 2 for 1 but we agreed that we would have paid full price for the experience. We went on the 5pm music cruise so there wasn't any narration. The musician was very good. We sat downstairs but ventured upstairs at one point. The boat was... More

Great little 1.5 hour tour of Saguaro Lake. Highly recommend!! We took the 5:00pm tour, and were glad that we did. The light was perfect for photography and the temps were not too hot. Captain very pleasant and knowledgeable about the area.

The idea is great! Go on a nice boat ride through the mountain areas , see wildlife, get a hie narration about local things to see. Wildlife, etc. Not the case. It was a boring mantra of the guides hikes through the mountain ranges that we passed. Basic advice "bring water if you hike out here." Nothing to see -... More

Had done Canyon lake last year and wanted to try Saguaro Lake this year. Weather was great, boat is good but way to many seat up top. Scenery is OK but not as great as Canyon but Captain Tom made the tour worth the price. Very informative through the entire cruise. If you are in the area, sure give it... More

Nice boat ride, beautiful scenery, funny captain. Disappointed in lack of wildlife sitings. Nice assortment of beverages and popcorn available for sale. Wish we would have sat on the starboard (right) side of the boat; we were on the left (port) side, and the captain kept pointing out things on the right side!

Lake Saguaro is a beautiful 10 mile long lake with 25 feet of shoreline. The tour is 90 mins. long with narration about the area. There is covered seating and a bar with drinks and snacks. There are bathrooms aboard. It's a nice way to enjoy the beautiful weather and see scenery and wildlife.
