We went on this great 90 minute cruise today, highlight of the week for us. The captain of the cruise did a wonderful job of narrating, we spotted eagles and rams on the hillside, a blue herron, and alot of snowbirds. Points of interest were aplenty, and the captain was very knowledgeable. Will be taking this Desert Belle Cruise again... More

We drove out to visit Saguaro lake while we were vacationing in Scottsdale. Worth the drive out. $25 per adult for a 90 minute lake cruise, beer or wine included. We did the late afternoon tour in October which provided ideal lighting for photos. We actually saw 2 bighorn sheep standing on the rocks. This is a beautiful reservoir that... More

This was a nice boat trip of around 90 minutes around the canyon. The guide on board was very informative and was happy to answer questions, point out wildlife etc. which made the trip very interesting. A little disappointed at the array of 'food/snacks' available on board considering we were not allowed to take food or drink on board and... More

Cruised Saguaro Lake for 90 minutes on The Desert Belle and it couldn't have been bettered. Captain Mike was a fantastic host and his narration was informative and humorous. The captains crew are tip top and help to make the trip memorable. It was quite a surprise to find such a lake after all our trips into the desert and... More

The finale of our trip to beautiful Arizona was this calm and enjoyable boat ride with narration taught so much of history and the area. The ride was comfortable and of course relaxing. The snacks on the boat were really reasonable too! Close to this cruise site is a beautiful river for tubing. Next time we will have to do... More

We were going to have out of town company visit us in the Phoenix area in June. That definitely limits outdoor activities. We found the Desert Belle through a coupon in the Entertainment book. You would never expect a lake in the middle of Arizona deserts, but it was a beautiful series of connecting lakes with some unique surrounding scenery.... More

I totally concur with the review by JackieSC, We also have been on the Dolly Boat on Canyon Lake and the Deser Belle. There is no comparison! The Desert Belle crew are far more hospitable whereas the Canyon Lake lot were verging on hostility and had the attitude that they were doing everyone a favor by allowing them on their boat

A very pleasant and informative ride around one of the most beautiful lakes in the phoenix area. This 90 minute ride, which has both an outside viewing area and an air-conditioned lower level, provides a wonderful way to see most of this man-made lake. The full price for the tour is $20 for regular boarding and $25 for preferred boarding.... More

Many visitors to the greater Phoenix area do not know about the lake system which begins just a short drive from the desert floor. About 40 miles from Mesa is Saguaro Lake hymned in by some beautiful mountain scenery. At the lake there is a concessionaire there called Desert Belle Cruises. They take you on a one and a half...
