We took the 90 minute Naration Cruise at $20 each, and it was fantastic. There is also the Premium ticket which gives priority boarding, a drink and popcorn at $25 each. The Captain of the boat gave us information on the history, geology and wild life of the lake. A very knowledgable gentleman with a pleasant, easy manner. We we're... More

What a great introduction to some of the Sonoran Desert. Lake Saguaro was beautiful. Spend the extra $5 for the preferred ticket. It includes your choice of drink and a box of popcorn. Captain Mike was so much fun! He has been doing this tour for many years; and, yet, his presentation didn't sound "canned," it was fresh and informative.... More

Just completed a beautiful Arizona day at Saguaro Lake, enjoying the 107F day while relaxing with a great open roof deck. A nice breeze kept us from being too uncomfortable and the "roof" top provided the shade. It was a 90 min narrative adventure with good informative commentary without being too cheesy. In between highlights, our captain provided us with... More

Though you can't guarantee sighting of eagles and amazing mountain goats you could be lucky. It's a well organised short cruise down the lake, with professional commentary and friendly staff. Lots of great photo opportunities.

Even locals would love this boat ride, relaxing and beautiful scenic views and some wild life if you get lucky, (we got eagle and big horn sheep). We took my mom in a wheelchair and it was easy getting to the boat and she so enjoyed it. Lots of information from the captain but not overbearing and music was great... More

...especially if visitors don't have time to go all the way to Colorado river. Make sure you don't drive past the marina entrance.Comfortable boat, informative but not over-bearing narration.GREAT scenery. Sit on the right side (facing forward) for best viewing.

This is a must if you are visiting Phoenix and/or surrounding areas and are on a budget. Costing only $25 for priority seating on a 1.5 hour ride on a nice boat and drink from the snack stand, it is a steal. The captain was cool and very knowlegable of the lake, surrounding land marks and history. He even helped... More

The 10 mile cruise through the winding lake was very relaxing. The views were amazing (we saw a bald Eagle too). It was a hot April afternoon, but there was a cool lake breeze. I have to admit Desert Belle crew was the best cruise crew I have ever traveled with. The tour narrative was excellent and the service was... More

I have lived in AZ for 35 years and had never done this boat trip. It was fabulous. Our captain/guide was very knowledgeable and pointed out all of the wonderful sights. I had trouble believing that we were on a lake in the middle of the desert! The sights were beautiful and our guests from FL were suitable impressed. Well... More

If you are thinking you might want to sit inside/outside/ top or bottom purchase the premium ticket for $25 instead of $20 and arrive early. Any seat was a good seat. Captain Tom provides an informative narration, answers any questions and has music themed to the topic at hand. We did see a bald eagle, a great blue heron and... More
