We were going to have out of town company visit us in the Phoenix area in June. That definitely limits outdoor activities. We found the Desert Belle through a coupon in the Entertainment book. You would never expect a lake in the middle of Arizona deserts, but it was a beautiful series of connecting lakes with some unique surrounding scenery.... More

I totally concur with the review by JackieSC, We also have been on the Dolly Boat on Canyon Lake and the Deser Belle. There is no comparison! The Desert Belle crew are far more hospitable whereas the Canyon Lake lot were verging on hostility and had the attitude that they were doing everyone a favor by allowing them on their boat

A very pleasant and informative ride around one of the most beautiful lakes in the phoenix area. This 90 minute ride, which has both an outside viewing area and an air-conditioned lower level, provides a wonderful way to see most of this man-made lake. The full price for the tour is $20 for regular boarding and $25 for preferred boarding.... More

Many visitors to the greater Phoenix area do not know about the lake system which begins just a short drive from the desert floor. About 40 miles from Mesa is Saguaro Lake hymned in by some beautiful mountain scenery. At the lake there is a concessionaire there called Desert Belle Cruises. They take you on a one and a half... After leaving a terrible experience with a cancelled reserved tour on the Dolly Steamboat, we made our way to Saguaro Lake to see if we could tour aboard the Desert Belle instead. Even without reservations, we were welcomed aboard graciously by very pleasant and knowledgeable staff. It was rather warm, so we didn't see much wildlife out and about; they... More

This excellent 90 minute tour covers the history, geography and wildlife on this man made lake about 15 miles northeast of Mesa. We had a groupon for 2 people for $20 half off the regular price. We took the the 12:30 PM tour. Friendly staff and interesting narration by Capt. Geno. You can sit on the covered top deck or... More

This is a very pleasant 90 minute tour. When we have out of town guests I usually suggest this boat ride. There is no strenuous activity at all and easily accessible for those with physical limitations. Always check to see if there's a coupon available, such as Groupon or Amazon Local. They run these specials often, especially during the shoulder... More

We were very pleasantly surprised by the great customer service. We appreciated how they worked with us to solve an issue of our own making. They were polite and accommodating.

This was a great attraction. The weather, the views, and the commentary are wonderful. It is so relaxing. The boat is clean. The serve alcohol and snacks at a reasonable price. The people are nice. It was so relaxing and beautiful. It provides you so many different views. You get to see Four Peaks Mountain, a rare cactus, arches in... More

Words cannot describe the experience I had on the Desert Belle. My coworker and I were invited aboard by the leader of a group we transported for a dinner cruise. I had no idea that this gem even existed in Arizona. The staff was amazing, especially one young lady who was serving the food, she was so happy and full... More
