Well worth the money if in the area, very informative, just long enough. Great captain, knew his stuff. Bring a jacket, it gets breezy.

With a group of three couples. Only one sailing per day in January but not sold out. Plenty of view from the upper deck. Captain Geno clearly loves his job and is a fountain of AZ lore and scientific insights. He responds very well to questions. One extraordinary thing: Captain pointed out a crested Saguaro which is a super rarity... More

We went just after Christmas, and it was freezing. Even then, this was a great cruise! We learned a ton about the environment where we lived, saw some wonderful animals, and were treated to drinks and good company.

Enjoyed the cruise. The full 90 minute cruise gives a really nice tour of Saguaro Lake, and the narration is informative and well done. Nice activity for friends to enjoy together.

The Desert Belle Cruise provides a lovely way to admire the desert and flora and fauna of the area. The captain provides an interesting and informative commentary. The boat holds 155 guests but was not full when we travelled (probably just over 100 on our trip). It might feel a bit full with 155 but it was perfect when we... More

The captain narrating the cruise was very informative. Unfortunately, no wildlife were seen on our trip. The 90 minute ride was very relaxing. We had a good time.

Thirsty? There's a whole reservoirful! Dinner & drinks, 2-3hr boatcruise aboard a 2-level 100(?) passenger boat on Saguaro Reservoir east of Phoenix. Lovely attentive staff, marvelous scenery & blazing sunset to view, well-made food & decent bar. My tour included comfy coach bus transportation - no dicey driving after the fun for me! Had a great time!

I went on this cruise with some friends. I had not heard of this cruise before, and was pleasantly surprised. I have lived in Arizona all my life, but have never gone on a lake cruise. The boat captain was very knowledgeable and was able to provide an entertaining description of our trip. The cost seem to be a little... More

On a hot day, this cruise cools you off. If it doesn't, then you need to go into the air-conditioned cabin. The trip is the perfect length of time. The captain and crew are very knowledgeable about the lake, area, scenery, wildlife, etc. They have refreshments on board for sale.

Captain and staff were very friendly. Narration was humorous and very informative. We had a five year old with us and I would suggest that the cruise does not hold a youngsters attention for the length of the cruise.o
