Rosario in general is a gem full of history next to a large river. As most cities in Argentina it seems as the 'golden period" is past but it is beginning to shine again. Lots of fish restaurants along the river where one can taste colorful fish I never seen before.

The day was incredible, but the place is unforgettable. By the coastline, in front of a park. Monumental, elegant and deep in its messages and expressions. A place to know in Argentina, and Rosario has a lot to see.

You can´t visit Rosario without visiting this monument. The artist who designed it thought in a kind of ship pointing to the Parana river, with the "patria"( soul of the country) as a woman leading with the flag in her hand.At both sides lay the statues of the Athlantic Ocean and the Parana River, and some more tells the battles for... beatiful place and landscape. Visit the flags gallery. As a Rosario citizen I never miss a parade on June 20th.

This is an impressive plaza with a tower monument overlooking the river. As we were arriving it was closing for the long lunch and siesta and we never managed to get back to it.

The combination of several statues, the water, all the marble and the symmetry of the design makes for an extra ordinary monument to the many thousands of ordinary people who were kidnapped, tortured and murdered by the despotic rulers of the 70’s. It is huge and really awe inspiring, almost like a coliseum, and a fitting tribute to those who... More

The Monumentum is definitly worth going there. Entrence fee is very low and the view on the city and river side nice. The queue tends to me really long, with long waiting times. And dont forget to visit the Room of the South American Flags on the bottom of the Monumentum! It is kind of hidden, ask for it cuz... More

It's a symbol of Rosario, and you'll like it.. It just a monument, with a small museum.. But it's huge, and well maintained... You'll enjoy it, and it's on the way to other Rosario attractions.

This is the number ONE tourist attraction in the city! Right at the end of the pedestrian area. Take the elevator up to the platform the view is great! If you come from Downtown you will pass also the major city church and the City Hall!
