I went in late December and could not find the market aspect of this place. It seems like a bus stop win a few souvenir shops? Maybe its only open as a market some times?

You can find a good variety of alfajores, olive, olive oil, wines and cheese. It goes around 4 pm to 10 pm. It has good prices and wherever you go the prices are the same.
