Niagara may have more volume, but Iguazu has many more falls spread out over a larger area. Be sure to do the boat ride into the falls. Allow at least a full day. It was very hot, but well worth the effort needed to see the falls from all angles. More

If you have a chance to get to the Brazil side you cannot pass up the oppotunity. It adds such a different view and allows you toeally appreciate the view. Go early as there are plenty of people and the large tours move slow and generally can be very rude. There are many picture opportunities and worth the trip. PLEASE... More

You simply have to see this if you have a chance. One of the most amazing places on Earth. Take lots of water (lots and lots of water... as much as you can carry in a backpack), as the climate is quite warm and humid, but be prepared to spend a day or two with your jaw and eyes hanging... More

We went to both sides of the falls. The Brazil side is more touristy than the Argentina side, but the view is very nice. Argentina you can walk all around the falls and right up near them - Brazil, you can see all of the falls and take in how large the falls are. I would try to see both... More

Tips: Visit both Argentinian and Brasilian side. It worth! Beware that closing time means something different on each side! - Brazil - closing time 5:30 PM, meaning that it is the time when the shops and the ticket booths close, BUT the last bus departs at 6:30 (from the last stop to Visitor Center) - you can spend more time... The Argentinian Iguazu Falls, for people who like natural atractions, is a world´s must. You may visit the falls from the argentinian side during a whole day or dedicating two days. <you may stay in one of the various hotels that you may find in Puerto Iguazu town, or if your budget can support it, you may stay at the...
