Of all the falls I have seen, I would say this one the best. ( I have seen few). The green from the grass, the white from water and brown from the rocks adds up to a wonderful visual delight. Make sure to visit the island and hike on all three paths . Each will provide various vistas and all... more

Went to Iguazu May 1-3. The falls are spectacular, even though they are only at 30% capacity right now due to a drought in Argentina. You really only need about a day and a half to leisurely enjoy all of the sights and park trails. Hiking is very easy. We did the Iguazu Jungle Explorer Great Adventure tour, which is... more

I really don't think I can add anything to what a great site this is that other people haven't already written. So let me warn you about one thing. At the falls...and after the boat trip...there are people who will try to sell you photographs and a dvd. We bought both...but received neither. Our guide offered to hold our photo... more

I returned from my trip in Argentina and I really enjoyed Iguazu Falls. This place is unique! We arranged a tour with a local company (very good price iguazu-falls.com.ar, check with a guy called Ramiro). They offered a very good price with excellent hotels. Don´t forget to book the boat navigation to see the Devil´s Throat from the river. It´s... more

Amazing place - breathtaking. All day long you are constantly amazed at each new view you get. Do the brazilian side first as it takes less time and is less impressive! make sure if you want to get the boat over to the central island that you do it early otherwise you will not be able to go later. They... more

We spent 3 nights/4 days - stayed at Foz do Iguacu, Brazil. On the first day, we saw the Brazilian side in the afternoon for about 3 hours - this is enough to enjoy the panoramic views. For the next two days, we visited the Argentinan side and went back and forth as we already had multiple entry visas for... more

we arrived after the last days in Mar when the crowds had gone. The walkways were clear, butterflies magnificant, turtles, birds, condors, deep blue skies and piles of white clouds. I would suggest first thing or evening light to improve photos. Our guide was excellent -- great english, knowledge and enthusiasm for fauna and flora. We walked about 6 K... more

Having traveled from Canada we wanted to take full advantage of exploring Iguazu and returned over 3 days (2 was probably sufficient). We purchased a "full adventure" pass on day 1 which can be split up over two days. This included a boat ride through wetlands from Devil's throat, a 4*4 ride through a bit of the rainforest, and a... more

I do think it's unfortunate that the park charges a higher admission fee to "foreigners"..how rude. Can you imagine if we did that here in the US? There would be an uproar. In any case, the falls were beautiful. There are many walking trails and places to sit down on benches. We saw that smart locals took thermoses and packed... more

Arrived at the Sheraton around 2pm and quickly changed (bring comfortable sandals (easy walking), water and a few pesos (there is a snack bar en route). Took the Upper trail to the train to Devils Throat....an amazing intro to the Falls. The next day we hired a taxi to take us to the Brazil side...yes get that visa and GO!... more
