Just a tip, especially if you care a bit about seeing birds and wildlife, that you can rent monoculars for free at the park. You put down a deposit (I forget how much, AR$50?) and it will be returned once you hand the eye glass back. You can pick them up at the Tacuarembo store at the main entrance. They... more

This is such a truly remarkable place; it's a lifetime experience. The power and majesty of the falls cannot be described, they need to be witnessed in the flesh to take in the beauty and force of nature at it's best. Go and enjoy! One tip though. Avoid the 'disneyesque' rides and truck tours. Go at your own pace and... more

No words can describe this amazing site! I had seen many photographs prior to our visit but nothing prepared me for the incredible sights and the deafening noise of the rushing torrents. We were lucky and, due to a passing storm the night before our arrival, the volume of the waters was incredibly high, giving the churning, frothy waters the... more

While it's not easy to get to, if you can make the trip, you won't be sorry... except when it's time to leave! These falls are unlike any others: 275 falls along 2.7 km of clifftops. Standing right there and looking, you can't believe what you're seeing. It's absolutely otherworldly. Plan at least two overnights and three full days, and... more

If you are traveling to Brazil, you must stop and visit the beautiful Iguazza Falls. There are over 100 waterfalls that you can hike very close to and take great photos. I suggest paying for the powerboat ride through the falls where you get absolutely wet. The bird sanctuary was also very interesting. The Falls are definitely worth your time... more

We visited Iguazu Falls 1st week of Sep 2009. We stayed one night and wished we could have stayed at least 3 days/2 nights. We did go to the park twice: first the afternoon as soon as we arrived from 1pm-5pm and then most of the day the following day from 10am-3pm before catching our 4:30pm LAN flight back to... more

I had heard a lot about people only going for a night, there not being much to do etc etc and now I cant... more

Iguazu falls are claimed to be one of the great natural wonders of the world and when you see them you will no doubt agree. The falls are on the Parana river at the border of Brazil and Argentina and are the most specular in the world. You can view the falls from the Brazilian side and the Argentinian side.... more

i was recently visiting Iguazu Falls and took a number of additional 'tours' available in the region. I would first like to concur with all travellers who recommend visiting Iguazu Falls - it is truly the most spectacular feat of nature I have seen! But please, do not take the over-priced and thrilling Great Adventure Tour. You head through the... more
