Four of us took the Ampora Wine Tour of the Lujan Valley, and enjoyed ourselves. It is our second time touring with a company in Mendoza and I can't help but make some comparisons. More about that later. We toured 4 wineries with Ampora, including lunch at the third winery. The first winery was Chacas du Clos, which had great... More

This was my first wine tasting tour and I certainly lucked out. From getting pick up at our B&B, through the wine tasting and delicious lunch, Ampora provided an amazing experience. We visited 4 wineries total, each one unique and memorable in its own way and then ate a very classy lunch at the final winery. The wineries provided very... More

We did the Lujan De Cuyo tour -- 4 wineries, 20 samplings of wine, and 6-course lunch. We had a fantastic time visiting 4 distinct wineries, hearing about the wine making process and the business side of running a winery. Scenery around the vineyards was amazing but the drive to/from the city wasn't anything special. 20 wine samplings is a... More

I did this tour 3 years ago and I still think about it! The Ampour tour is probably the most expensive tour I have ever been on, but it was totally worth the cost! I went on the Uco Valley tour and even though I was a with a van full of strangers, I never felt left out. I met... More

I am a big beer fan. Never really been into wine. But this tour may have me thinking about changing from the beer menu to the wine list. All four wineries we visited were awesome. And our guide, Ms. Maria Belen, was absolutely fantastic. She was entertaining, intelligent, knew her stuff, and really seemed to fully enjoy her job, which... More

I did two tours. First the uco valley wine experience and on the second day the lujan de cuto tasting experience. The two tours were quite different but both excellent in their own way. Everything about this company from the friendly and knowledgable staff in the office to the careful and friendly bus drivers and the high quality buses was... More

Well maybe not for presidente but certainly for tour guide of the year. Went on the Uco Valley tour and had a very enjoyable time. Visited 3 wineries: 1 organic, 1 boutique, and 1 large one. All were good in their own ways. We had a small group of 7 which was perfect size. Sabrina did a great job explaining... More

I took my mother on both Uco Valley and Luján de Cuyo tours for her birthday. They were both wonderful, with small groups of 8. First, Uco: Jose was very nice, and there were fun activities while on the tour (ie: blending competitions and tasting before fermentation). On Luján, Sabrina was an absolute delight! She is energetic, passionate, and knowledgeable.... More

Ampora wine tours was a great time, I did both the Uco Valley and Luján de Cuyo. Both were incredible with great views and amazing wine. I really enjoyed Corazòn del Sol on the Uco Valley trip, it's extremely new but the guide, the views and the wine were superb. The lunch both days was delicious and the pairings were... More

Ampora was recommended by our daughter and her husband. They were right. We went on tours to the Uco Valley and to Lujan de Cuyo. Our guides Florencia and Jose. They were both charming, spoke perfect English and were very knowledgeable about wine making and the history of the region. Both tours were limited to about 8 people and they... More
