This was the first of two wineries that we visited, whilst in the Mendoza region. This large estate being the older - we were able to see something of how the winery worked over many years the disused railway for example. Looking round at some of the equipment in use & defunct. Finally, we spent some very pleasant time tasting... More

The tour cost 100 pesos and was targetted around the history of the winery and less about the wine production. The tour was slick and well presnted with Spanish and English guides. The tasting was conducted in a lovely room, but the wines to be tasted were fixed and there was no opportunity to try other wines. There was no... More

Trapiche was our last Bodega on a long day through the maipu village! Save the best for the last was totally true in this case! Its a little bit more expensive than the other wineries but its totally worth the price! Perfect wines and daniela did the best Job! As we almost missed the bus to salta, daniela drove us... More

It was very interesting how one of the biggest Argentinan wine producers operates. Even though the bodega they show you looks a little bit artificial (I am sure that the real thing is happening somwhere else) it is still nice to visit. Plus the tasting :)

This was an excellent visit with plenty of wine to sample. The tour can be in English and starts with an introductory video before stopping at certain locations throughout the winery. I would definitely recommend a visit.

We visited Trapiche on a wine tour while staying in Mendoza. The bodega is beautifully set out on immaculate gardens....The tour begins with a short video that summarises the history of the estate and thereafter you are taken on a tour of the museum. The tour ends with a wine tasting. Its a great tour...not too long and the wine... More

We did a very worthwhile tour of the Trapiche winery - which included a tasting of three wines - for 80 pesos per person. The tour can be in English if need be, and starts with an introductory video before stopping at certain locations throughout the winery for basic explanations of how things work and for some genuinely interesting facts... Nice place for visiting. They showed the "old way" for making wine, and then moved to the latest equipment they have. A wine tasting is also included in the visit and they offer different kinds of wine (good wines I would say, mid-to-high wines are provided in this tasting). They have good prices at store, but they don't sell the... More

The bodega is Amazing, Spanish colonial with chic modern. Our guide gave us a great tour explaining all the story, different techniques, and difference with the grapes. The tasting was great, wine is awesome! We took our time, never felt rushed and had a great experience. The best was the Cellar / el vino de la casa. We ended up... More
