We did a very worthwhile tour of the Trapiche winery - which included a tasting of three wines - for 80 pesos per person. The tour can be in English if need be, and starts with an introductory video before stopping at certain locations throughout the winery for basic explanations of how things work and for some genuinely interesting facts... This was an excellent visit with plenty of wine to sample. Very interesting tour and well worth the visit.

Nice place for visiting. They showed the "old way" for making wine, and then moved to the latest equipment they have. A wine tasting is also included in the visit and they offer different kinds of wine (good wines I would say, mid-to-high wines are provided in this tasting). They have good prices at store, but they don't sell the... More

The bodega is Amazing, Spanish colonial with chic modern. Our guide gave us a great tour explaining all the story, different techniques, and difference with the grapes. The tasting was great, wine is awesome! We took our time, never felt rushed and had a great experience. The best was the Cellar / el vino de la casa. We ended up... More

This is a beautiful Bodega. We did not take the tour but did sample the wines which were excellent. They even brought us a bottle of sparking to enjoy on the patio-on the house. I would definitely recommend a visit.

I spent quite a bit of time in touring Bodegas Trapiche. They have been in business for quite some time and are so good that they have even won several awards for their wine. Andres was my tour guide and he has an extensive knowledge of his bodega. I was able to view their vineyards, see their barrels and the... More

My wife and I took the tour, our guide was Andres who knew English and provided a really interesting tour with four different wine tastings in the end including one exclusive Malbec. Highly recommended.

The guide was very competent and prepared. We got to taste four premium wines. I bought two bottles of red and got two bottles of brut thrown in (and didn't have to pay for the tour), very good deal. The surrounding area is not the best looking, but the winery itself has premises.

Being from Montreal Canada, this is not the first winery that would come to mind when choosing to visit one in Mendoza… Let's just say that what we get from Trapiche comes from the bottom of the barrel! This said, we were amazed at the quality of their high end wines. Our hostess apologized for the quality of what is... More

While I was more interested in drinking wine than learning about the history, I found the tour interesting nonetheless. The wine was tasty and the tour guide had a fun demeanor. The view from the tasting room of the olive trees and animals was pretty cool also.
