Hosted by Ampora Wine Tours ( we did two wine tours as well) our 5 course Empanadas & wine tasting was wonderful. It was educational to hear about the craft and old recipes for making the delicious meat pies. The owner of the your group opened up his house for the evening wine tastings. It had undergone a restoration so... More

The tasting itself is not something special but when you put together with the opportunity of meeting people from all over the world and at the same time learning a bit more of argentinian wine it turns amazing.

I highly recommend visiting a Tanina's tastings if you plan to visit Mendoza. The food is just beautiful: Cooked perfectly and served with grace and warmth. The home in which the tastings are held is a lovely, refined and yet still ver comfortable and convivial space. Critically, the wines my group tasted were also excellent and selecting a favourite was... More

We loved this place, we tasted 7 different Malbecs, met very interesting people and had lots of fun. Our host was very informative and entertaining. We had to guess the price of each wine and if we got at least 3 right he poured a bonus round. Thanks goodness for our Chilean guests who knew their prices. Our bonus pour... More

This is a brilliant way to taste some great wines - we were the only 2 in our group which meant we missed out on the meeting people element but instead got plenty of time and information from our host. the food was delicious and the Malbecs were interesting and very nice. Our host allowed us to pop down to... More

We did a wine tasting, nice wines, good cheese and bread, met interesting people and even joined them for dinner. Really good start in the evening!

Tasted very interesting wines, but more importantly, met great people and had lots of fun !!! This is a great way to discover something other than the Norton or Trapiche of this world in Mendoza

We never realised that Malbec wines could taste so good, in fact the six that we sampled here at Mendoza Wine Connection were excellent. Our host was very knowledgable about wines, entertaining, and helped to make this a most memorable evening. If you are a fan of Malbecs or just like good red wines, this is a must when you... More

I highly recommend spending some time with Belén at the Mendoza Wine Connection. It was just my buddy and me for a Malbec-only "experience", and we learned lots, with six generously poured tastes, from sparking to full bodied red, accompanied by three different local cheeses, plus olives and bread. But that's just wine and snacks. It was Belén who made... More

I arrived without a reservation and was immediately made welcome. I was offered a seat at the bar or a table in the tasting area. The choice of tastings was excellent, from budget to deluxe. I opted for the "blind tasting" and received outstanding personal attention throughout. Afterwards I remained for a few glasses from the list and a delicious... More
