This bodega and restaurant are in a beautiful setting with lush grounds and the majestic mountains in the background. We received a warm welcome and were treated like friends during our entire visit. We started with lunch (if you go, be sure to make reservations). The food was excellent, especially the steak that was cooked perfectly. This was easily one... More

I went to Mendoza Argentina, Finca Decero is really beautiful. As my wife works with wines, she arrange special lunch there and everything was great. The food was extremly good and the wines of Bodegas Decero are incredible! If you go to Mendoza you must visit this place and enjoy one of the bests wines of Mendoza. The balcony you... More

This vineyard has not been going very long, perhaps about 10-15 years if I remember correctly. The names means something like "starting from scratch". The wines are made 'by hand' we were shown the grape selecting machine and the fermentation vats, then finally the cellars. All very clean and news. A lot of money has been invested in this vineyard... More

Exceptional young winery with a state if the art set up and architecture, blending admirably well in the local environment. Lots of similarities with Opus winery and Rothschild too. Great lunch and wine tasting. Truly memorable.

We visited in mid-March while doing wine touring around Mendoza. Upon arrival, we found the property and its setting to be spectacular (although it is a bit off the highway down an unpaved road that isn't the smoothest ride). However, everything at Decero justifies the visit. Our winery tour guide, Diana, was exceptional. Lunch was superb and the setting was... More

Our guide Diana crushed it. She provided the most comprehensive and rational explanation of the wine manufacturing process that we have ever heard out of literally 50 wineries we have been to in the last 15 years. The property is beautiful and impeccably maintained. It is clear that they are operational geniuses by the layout of the property. It is... More

A guide whose interest was superficial and who seemed unable to cope with the fact that we already knew something about wine and who was more interested in dealing with phone calls and the next tour party mad this a memorably bad visit. We were in and out in 25 minutes and we only allowed to taste three wines, despite... More

This was our first winery tour upon arriving in Mendoza and after several days worth of winery visits, it remained our favorite! The tour guide (Daiana) was wonderful! She was very passionate about making sure we had a great visit and enjoyed our wine tasting. The view and setting is spectacular, very high end and impressive wines too! Don't miss... More

Nice tour with very good tour guide, but lunch not impressive and poor service. Relatively new winery owned by a Swiss millionair, that is probably also why everything is meticulously clean, and even the vineyards look more neatly aligned than other vineyards. The tourguide was good and very friendly. We found the lunch a bit disappointing, both the food and... More

After being thoroughly disappointed with the "city" side of Mendoza and its outskirts, we were thrilled to arrive in REAL wine country - specifically Finca Decero. Now this is what I was looking for - a beautiful winery with gorgeous scenery. The Andes Mountains serve as an impressive backdrop to the grounds of the estate. And the lunch was spectacular...
