We explored art and gastronomy and wine with Dolores Montero of Tasting Mendoza in 2011 and again in 2014. Her ability to curate a perfect tour to one's tastes is extraordinarily impressive. She is absolutely terrific, impossibly attentive, and entirely alert to the specific needs and desires of those with whom she is working. On both stays Dolores tailored our... More

Tasting Mendoza was was one the highlights of our honeymoon! Dolores set everything up perfectly so that when we arrived at the airport around 11am on our first day, Emilio, our amazing bilingual driver, picked us up and brought us straight to our first vineyard out of three for that first day. At Kaiken, we were the only people there... More

four of us set off on a two day tasting experience. Mendoza is a desert region, so lacks the beauty of other parts of the world. Dolores planned a mixed trip ranging from the very smallest to some substantial wineries. the choice was excellent, giving us a broad view of the region and its wines and producers. soem of the... Just returned from my first visit to Mendoza. My friend and I booked this trip as a sort of “bachelorette send-off” for me. We have both always wanted to visit Mendoza, especially because of their reputation for great food, wine, and people. Well, Mendoza is fabulous on all three counts, but we never would have gotten to experience all of... More

Just returned to Mendoza for my second trip. Once again, used Delores with Tasting Mendoza for airport transfers and winery tours. The whole process was a breeze. I highly recommend this agency. Delores listened to our wishes and set things up perfectly. I would not return again without using Tasting Mendoza. They offer much more than wine tours as well!

Did a DIY tour several years ago, and decided to visit Achaval- Ferrer, Bressia, Luca, and Escorihuela-Gascon (the latter to eat at Francis Mallman's 1884 for lunch, where he was manning the huge grill). We booked a driver (Pedro Queroga (sp?) thru The Vines of Mendoza. He was very knowledgeable, and had a big new car. I forget the cost... More

We used Tasting Mendoza for a fun outdoors day. The driver was prompt and had a nice, comfortable car, and had great English. He took us out to Potrerillos for horseback riding and zip lining. Upon arrival, he walked up the street and bought us amazing tortas to share for breakfast and mate to share. The ride was a trail... More

I toured the wine region of Mendoza in 2006 with an excellent agency with which I was entirely satisfied, but during my most recent four month 2011 stay in Buenos Aires, found Dolores Montero of "Tasting Mendoza" [--] and had an absolutely spectacular experience. Because of the threat of volcanic ash and the possibility of cancelled flights, we elected to... More

My wife and I traveled to Mendoza in April 2010. We arranged our wine tours in Mendoza through Delores at Tasting Mendoza. It could not have been better. We were picked up day one at the airport by a guide with our name on a sign. We did a city tour first as we arrived early and were waiting for... More

While I've been to Buenos Aires a number of times in the past, I'd never been outside of the city. This trip I was committed to seeing more of what Argentina has to offer (it's called the "country of seven continents" - and it's true!). We spent 3 days in Mendoza and decided on 2 days wine tasting and a... More
