We went to visit Tigre and read about all the positive reviews of Fernando's safari. Once in Tigre we met him and he managed to convince us to take his 'tour' instead of one of the cheaper tours. We had a great day on the water with Fernando. He's a very relaxed and hospitable guy. The area was absolutely beautiful... More

I visited Argentina with a group of students from the United States on a short-term study abroad trip. We were there for 9 days and this was my favorite experience of the trip. There were plenty of boat tours to choose form, but with Fernando (the tour guide), it truly is a unique experience. It doesn't feel like a 'tour',... More

We 'happened' upon this trip by total accident as we got off the 'Tren de Costa' and met Fernando on the platform. He spoke English very well and explained to us what our options were in terms of sightseeing (limited at this time of the year), and we decided to take his 4hr tour of the delta. He was very... Our trip to Tigre started out as a huge bust. We had no idea where to go, and ended up trekking for almost an hour to the nearby town (on accident). Needless to say, when we finally got back to Tigre and were walking around the port, we were in low spirits. It was about 3 pm when we encountered... More

I decided book a Delta Safari tour over one of the cheaper tours after reading reports on Tripadvisor and I'm so glad I did! We were out for nearly 5 hours in all, including being invited to Fer's bar for a drink during our trip! He made us feel so at home and took us to a gorgeous restaurant along... More

Arriving in Tigre we had an idea that we would like a boat trip, but didn't know where to go. Luckily we met Fer, who was talking to another couple, who couldn't afford the boat trip by themselves. Quickly we found out, that we could share a boat no matter that we didn't speak the same language, but only had... More

We lucked into meeting Fernando on a somewhat slow and overcast morning, and off we went to explore the river delta of Tigre. We learned so much about the area and how the people live, enjoyed the scenary and mostly chill-laxed on the boat. The sun busted out and we were set! The train trip from BA and the boating... More

We had a wonderful time with Fer, exploring some of Delta's hidden nature treasures. The tour is personalised, it was just the guide and us, and they do it on purpose to cater for different needs and interests. Even the choice of lunch was left to us: we could choose between several local venues, or just leave Fer to cook... More

My sister and I were in Buenos Aires in late February and booked Safari Delta for a day trip through the Delta in Tigre. Tommy was our host and boat driver and we can't say enough about how hospitable and knowledgeable he was. We had made arrangements online and Fernando was there to greet us at the train station, just... More

We had a great day in the unique backwaters of the delta away form the big tour boats and crowds. Fernando shared his love of this special area all with much wit and charm. It was a relaxing break from site seeing in Buenos Aries. Definitely plan this unique outing into your visit to Argentina.
