Anyone looking for a great day trip from Buenos Aires should visit the Tigre area and take a boat tour with Safari Delta. The slow paced delta town is a stark, but welcoming contrast to the European city of Buenos Aires, just a short, very inexpensive train ride away from the bustling metropolis. The zodiac tour was excellent, passing by... More

Traveling in Buenos Aires with seven friends and I wanted to head to Tigre for my birthday. We opted to book with with Fer and Thomas which was a great decision. They were great guides and genuinely good people. They took us both through the residential areas, which were very cool and unexpected, and also into unpopulated little tributaries along... More

We have just finish our week in Buenos Aires with a tour in the Delta. We were fortunate to picked Fernando’s Safari Delta tour. This tour includes a Zodiac boat dedicated for us with Fernando our tour guide. We were 2 adults and three kids and we saw the Delta, the people, the beautiful rivers and its plants (and a... More

This is definitely worth heading a touch north from Buenos Aires for a half day/day trip. Me and my wife were so happy we took the short commuter train ride up from the main train station to Tigre for our personal zodiac boat ride. The personal touch and amazing scenery made the day great. It was me, my wife, Tomi... More

My wife and I took a tour with Safari Delta today and all we can say is WOW. Our guide Tomas took us out on his zodiac to tons of more hidden and off-the-beaten path locations that you'd only find if you were a local (he's been plying these rivers since he was 6). We ducked in and out of... More

I had a free day on a visit to Buenos Aires and wanted to visit the Museo Naval de la Nación. A friend suggested that if I was going to be in Tigre I should do a tour of the delta and suggested Safari Delta. I checked the reviews on TripAdvisor and it looked really good, so I sent an... More

After looking this up on Trip Advisor I was really hoping that this would live up to the hype. It totally exceeded my expectations. After speaking with Fes via email and arranging our trip we were taken out at about 12pm on our own private boat with Tomi. Both welcomed us so warmly. We went to many places in the... More

Just by chance my husband and I took a Delta Safari trip. It was wonderful. The guide, Tomas, was knowlegeable about Argentina's history, its flora and fauna, and of course the delta itself. We had five hours cruising in and out of canals and learning about the area. Near the end, we stopped for lunch and Tomas prepared up the most... More

After taking the coast train we stumbled accross Fernando, who explained the beauty of the Delta and the offers available, both his and from other providers. He felt genuine and rather passionate about it all, and that is essentially what sold it. Since it was our last day in Buenos Aires, we were cash strapped, but still decided to try... More
