After taking the coast train we stumbled accross Fernando, who explained the beauty of the Delta and the offers available, both his and from other providers. He felt genuine and rather passionate about it all, and that is essentially what sold it. Since it was our last day in Buenos Aires, we were cash strapped, but still decided to try... More

We got off the train, looking to check out Tigre on our own, not knowing what we were doing or where we were going to go or how we would spend our time. We passed a tourist booth and ignored the guy in it who was speaking to us briefly (Fernando). A few minutes later he saw us looking through... More

Thank you very much, reading your letter is a bit emotional, could capture exactly those feelings that so often feel from my place as a guide, stop or do not stop, listen or do not listen, trust or not. Again thank you so much Fer More

We went to tour the delta with Fernando in his speed boat. We didnt plan to,but it ended up being a highlight of our trip! Fernando is absolutely wonderful. Passionate about what he does and the Tigre Delta. Saw some beautiful areas in the delta and learnt a lot. Thanks Fernando!!

A group of three of us wanted a day outside of Buenos Aires and chose the Tigre Delta over a day-trip to Colonia. I don't think any of us had particular expectations of the day as we trundled towards the delta on the train. We had speculatively emailed Fer about a possible trip with Safari Delta the day before but... More

We decided to go to visit the Tigre region pretty much at the last minute towards the end of our trip to Argentina. I had thus not researched activities as I would normally have done and basically went only with the info found on TA. I e-mailed a few and mostly received what I considered to be very expensive propositions... More

We went to visit Tigre and read about all the positive reviews of Fernando's safari. Once in Tigre we met him and he managed to convince us to take his 'tour' instead of one of the cheaper tours. We had a great day on the water with Fernando. He's a very relaxed and hospitable guy. The area was absolutely beautiful... More

I visited Argentina with a group of students from the United States on a short-term study abroad trip. We were there for 9 days and this was my favorite experience of the trip. There were plenty of boat tours to choose form, but with Fernando (the tour guide), it truly is a unique experience. It doesn't feel like a 'tour',... More

We 'happened' upon this trip by total accident as we got off the 'Tren de Costa' and met Fernando on the platform. He spoke English very well and explained to us what our options were in terms of sightseeing (limited at this time of the year), and we decided to take his 4hr tour of the delta. He was very... Our trip to Tigre started out as a huge bust. We had no idea where to go, and ended up trekking for almost an hour to the nearby town (on accident). Needless to say, when we finally got back to Tigre and were walking around the port, we were in low spirits. It was about 3 pm when we encountered... More

I decided book a Delta Safari tour over one of the cheaper tours after reading reports on Tripadvisor and I'm so glad I did! We were out for nearly 5 hours in all, including being invited to Fer's bar for a drink during our trip! He made us feel so at home and took us to a gorgeous restaurant along... More
