A very nice place with great views of the area and the town of Tandil. One of the 'must go' places when in Tandil. This is an iconic place in Tandil, the city used to be well known just for this magic stone that used to move naturally, from side to side. One day it felt down and the city cried, it happened in 1912. Few years ago, was placed a new fake stone very similar to thr original one in the same place... More

This is an easy short hike and gives you great views of Tandil. But the fame that this place has of the "piedra movediza" fell decades ago, and the current reproduced rock is hollow. So go for the views, the rock was a disappointment.
