After a day of shopping. Me and my husband stop in for dinner n drinks. We were seated quickly as the restaurant was empty. That should had been our que. We ordered or drinks. My husband waited 20 minutes for his drink. We had to call the new waitress to check on his drink order. And our food. When our... More

I have eaten at the Asia de Cuba in New York and LA year ago. I hadn't visited one in years. After enough steak, Italian and empanadas, like many travelers visiting a city we decided to try something else. This place won the award of our trip, the award for the worst dining experience. First of all, the inside dining... More

You pay 120 pesos to get in, you expect a fancy club. But it´s just a regular place like a thousand other clubs. Not worth it paying so much. The location it beautiful if you are here to drink something on the terrace, but for clubbing it´s nothing special.

First saw this place when I just got into the city and simply took a short stroll around Corrientes and stumbled upon this area...nice cafe during the day. Later on the same night, our pub crawl ended up at this place. At around 12 midnight the party was on! This is a really cool club, with a great atmosphere and... More

I didn't eat here (bad experiences in nightclub "restaurants"), but I did go out for a night of drinks and dancing here. The music was pretty good (electronic and latin), the girls there were beautiful, and the drinks were good but expensive. Although the drinks were expensive, I did get into the club free because I got there before 2AM... More

Our first night in the Puerto Madero Hilton on our honeymoon my wife and I came upon a sleek lounge type restaurant...Asia de Cuba. Lighting was low, dj music was upbeat and had a very cool vibe. We had several great meals in BA, this place however was the worst dinner while visiting this city. The service, food and staff... More

The 19th of October, I went to this place with my parents. The service is not professional and the lomitos and pork meat were so bad that we though they were a chewing gum. They try to charge me an extra amount of 30 dollars but they didn't apologize for this mistake. No good service and no good food. It... More

If you go, go late, meaning after 10 pm (as is true for most restaurants in Buenos Aires). This restaurant is in the fashionable and now overpriced Puerta Madera barrio. It's a tremendous place -- service, view, ambiance and food. I didn't stay, but I've been told the place opens up for dancing after all the dining is finished. Must... More

Staying in Puerto Madero

Neighborhood Profile
Puerto Madero
From its refurbished red brick buildings and port cranes to its modern skyscrapers and luxurious apartment buildings, Puerto Madero is the perfect combination of old and new. The river provides a quiet, relaxing atmosphere that contrasts with the hustle and bustle of heavy traffic just blocks away. Across the river, flanked by skyscrapers, are beautiful parks and quiet streets that make this neighborhood a unique destination in a city as busy as Buenos Aires. The restaurants, bars, and nightclubs on the docks make it a prime spot for nights out and have come to symbolize this area. Puerto Madero is even more striking after dark, when the lights from the docks and skyscrapers glow against the night sky.
