I was surprised to see a lot of people around filling mainly the supermarkets of the 3 streets that make Chinatown of BA. Nothing special otherwise. The restaurants are uninisiring and..empty except one or two . The shops sell mainly these very cheap chinese goods you can find in mass everywhere. Only that here are concentrated in one place. I... This Chinatown is in Belgrano neighbourhood and it's only a couple of blocks long but if you like Chinatown around the world, you'll like this one. There are a myriad of stores and restaurants packed inside those two blocks. The supermarkets sell great spices, sushi, asian goods, and you might even catch a Chinese holiday when there are live performances... More

It's not a neighborhood like in New York or San Francisco, but in a few blocks you can have chinesse food and also many things from China. More

We currently live in Buenos Aires and have been to Chinatown a few times. It is a small area of town but seems to have plenty of Asian foods and items. If I was visiting town and only had a week I wouldn't make this my first stop but we do like it. More

While insignificant when compared to Vancouver, San Francisco, New York or Paris, it's even superior to all of these Chinatowns in a few, limited ways. Worth a trip. More

interesting. good for finding spices and specialty products for cooking. also clothes -watch out for fakes- and 2$ souvenirs. you can go by train leaving from retiro, this way you get to see Retiro Station, although run down, worth to see and picture what BA was like. More

Lived with my family in BA for 18 months. This was one of our favorite places. The shopping was good, groceries and other item. We had a favorite resturant we went to everytime. Cantina Chinatown – 4783-4173, Mendoza 1700 y Arribenos, Belgrano. On the corner, pink paint. We would normally order, eggrolls, wan tan soup, carne salteado al kongpau (picante)... More

It may be small but it's sweet. Great vegan Chinese place there and if you cross the tracks you're in Belgrano which is a wonderful place to walk around (go watch the dogs in the dog park across the street). Chinatown has some great restaurants (Thai Food) and it's located on a cute street... I'm so glad I went. More
